Cronos (CRO), the native token of jumped 40% after Trump Media & Technology Group, together with and Yorkville Acquisition, announced the creation of a $6.4B Cronos Treasury. The move pushed CRO to multi-year highs, fueling optimism that major capital could flow into the Cronos ecosystem.
⚖️ HashFlare case
U.S. prosecutors have appealed the sentence for HashFlare co-founders Sergei Potapenko and Ivan Turõgin. Earlier this month, they were handed a “time served” ruling after 16 months in custody in Estonia before extradition to the U.S. Prosecutors are seeking a 10-year prison term, arguing the pair orchestrated a $577M mining fraud by selling fake contracts and misleading dashboards, which caused major investor losses.
