Ethereum Foundation clarifies: Recent large ETH dumping is not an official operation.[Block Rhythm] On August 14, Hsiao-Wei Wang, the Co-Executive Director of the Ethereum Foundation, stated on social media, "The address that sold 2794.87 ETH yesterday does not belong to the Foundation's operations. In the ICO of 2014, about 9% of the ETH supply was allocated to the Ethereum Foundation. Today, the ETH supply held by the Ethereum Foundation is less than 0.3% of the total supply. Therefore, after 10 years, you may find a large number of addresses associated with the Ethereum Foundation."According to previous reports, monitoring yesterday indicated that a certain Ethereum foundation Address had cumulatively sold 2794.87 ETH (worth 12.78 million USD) in nearly two hours, with an average selling price of 4574.4 USD.
