Old friends and new faces actively came to greet each other; some stayed specifically to listen to my speech; the organizers were also very considerate; friends recognized me at the afterparty with over a thousand people (of course, the disguise had its benefits); and someone even surprisingly gave me a bouquet of flowers. This time, I truly felt a sense of "vesting."
