According to Techub News, as reported by Finance Feeds, the Cyprus SEC has reached a settlement agreement of 200,000 euros with FTX's European subsidiary Trek Labs Europe Ltd (formerly FTX EU). The investigation found that the company had three violations between March and November 2022, including corporate governance deficiencies, failure to provide clients with fair and clear information, and inadequate retail customer suitability assessment procedures. The company has now paid the fine in full but has not formally acknowledged any wrongdoing.
