Trump: If a rebellion occurs in California, the Insurrection Act will be invoked to deploy the National Guard in Los Angeles.
U.S. President Donald Trump said it remains to be seen whether the protests in Los Angeles will require the use of an insurrection bill. Talks with California Governor Newsom a day earlier. California is in good shape, and without us (the federal government) California would have burned down. In the event of an insurrection in California, I will invoke the Insurgency Act and the National Guard will be stationed in Los Angeles until the danger subsides.
