Aptos Labs collaborates with Tsinghua University to develop a Consensus Algorithm testing tool to assist in the development of the Raptr high-performance consensus protocol.
On June 10, Aptos Labs announced a collaboration with Tsinghua University’s Software System Security Assurance Group, Wingtecher Labs, to jointly develop an advanced testing tool focusing on the implementation of Consensus Algorithm. This tool combines automated testing, protocol state space exploration capabilities, and logical error detection functions, helping to lay a solid foundation for the stability and security of Aptos’s new generation high-performance consensus protocol, Raptr.
This collaboration integrates top academic research with cutting-edge engineering practices, which not only helps to strengthen the quality assurance of the Aptos core protocol itself but also injects innovative momentum into the testing capabilities and system guarantees of blockchain infrastructure. By promoting the construction of a more powerful and sustainable testing toolchain, it sets a benchmark for technological advancement and continuous development in the industry.
The project is expected to be completed by the second quarter of 2026 or earlier, with the first integrated phase now online and experimental testing initiated.
