EigenLayer: The redistribution mechanism has been launched on the Testnet, and is expected to go live on the Mainnet by the end of June or in July.
On June 6, EigenLayer announced on social media that the redistribution mechanism has gone live on the Testnet, allowing AVS to redirect penalized funds instead of destroying them, thereby supporting new use cases such as lending and insurance protocols. This functionality has been running on the Holesky, Sepolia, and Hoodi Testnets. The Mainnet version is set to be launched soon, expected to go live on the Mainnet by the end of June or in July.
