N.Avenue, which operates CoinDesk JAPAN, has launched the "N.Avenue club" in July 2023. It is the largest corporate membership-based Web3 business community in Japan, centered around corporate leaders who research and promote Web3.

The theme of the roundtable (research meeting) in August 2025 (the 3rd term, 2nd session) is "The New Form of Finance Brought About by the Fusion of DeFi and Banks - Featuring the Founder of the World's Largest 'Aave'." DeFi (Decentralized Finance), which is automated through smart contracts without intermediaries, has been experiencing rapid growth and holds the potential to fundamentally change the structure of finance. A pioneering presence in the DeFi and Web3 space. Aiming to realize a "more open and fair internet," he founded Aave, the leading platform in the DeFi lending sector. Aave has raised over $54 billion in net deposits and continues to lead the industry. Currently, as the representative of Aave Labs, he is developing products such as Aave's native stablecoin GHO and "Horizon," which allows approved institutions to borrow stablecoins using real-world assets (RWA) as collateral. By enhancing the globalization, transparency, and accessibility of finance, he aims to bring economic independence and opportunities to people around the world.

Engaged in business development for digital assets and fintech. Joined Franklin Templeton in 2021 following the acquisition of Legg Mason. After serving as Head of Sales, responsible for mutual fund sales and marketing, became Head of Product Strategy, overseeing product development and product specialists. After graduating from university, joined the former Mitsui Trust Bank (now Mitsui Sumitomo Trust Bank). After transferring to Morgan Stanley Investment Management, went through Nikko AM and Wellington before joining Legg Mason. Graduated from Keio University, Faculty of Law, Department of Political Science.

Mizuho Financial Group Inc. Digital Strategy Department / Director ｜ Mr. Minehiro Ono

Joined Mizuho Bank in 2003. After working in personal product development and sales promotion planning at Mizuho Bank/Mizuho Trust Bank, and handling legal individuals in sales offices, I am now in my current position. In 2023, realizing the potential of blockchain, I strongly felt that financial institutions should engage with it. This led to my transfer to the current department after proposing a cryptocurrency-related product in the internal business contest "GCEO Challenge." I am responsible for exploring business opportunities and strategizing in the digital asset domain for the entire Mizuho Financial Group.
