According to the data from Coin World Network on February 15th, it was reported by American media that the chip manufacturing giant, TSMC, may take over the chip manufacturing business of the American company, Intel. The report said that, according to informed sources, in response to the continuously deteriorating business situation, the board of directors of Intel began discussions with TSMC at the end of last year to explore the possibility of cooperation. The negotiations are in the early stages, and the form of cooperation has not yet been determined. TSMC may hold the majority of Intel's chip manufacturing business in cooperation with other investors. It is currently unclear how much of Intel's manufacturing business TSMC will take over and how much capital will be invested. Informed sources stated that the transaction between the two parties may be limited to Intel's production factories in Oregon, Arizona, and New Mexico in the United States, as well as in Ireland, Israel, and other countries.
