Korea Exchange Issues 68 Management Item Warnings in Single Day; KOSDAQ Accounts for 51

According to Korea Exchange, Korean listed companies received 68 management item warning notices on August 5, signaling potential designation as managed stocks within five trading days if their situation does not improve. The Kosdaq market accounted for 51 of the notices, with 39 related to stock prices below 1,000 Korean won and 12 due to market capitalization falling below 20 billion won. The main board received 17 investment caution notices, including 10 for sub-1,000-won stocks and 7 for insufficient market capitalization below 30 billion won. Under strengthened listing standards that took effect on July 1, companies must maintain minimum thresholds for stock price and market capitalization for 25 consecutive trading days to retain listing status.
