63 South Korean Listed Companies Receive Delisting Warnings as Sub-1000-Won Stock Rule Takes Effect

According to South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service, 63 listed companies received management target warnings on August 5 after breaching new delisting criteria, with 16 on the main KOSPI board and 47 on the KOSDAQ. The warnings came on the 25th trading day following the July 1 implementation of stricter rules.
Among the 63 companies, 50 failed to meet the sub-1,000-won penny stock requirement, while 13 fell short of the revised market capitalization thresholds (300 billion won for KOSPI, 200 billion won for KOSDAQ). If these companies do not recover within the remaining five trading days, they face automatic management designation.
