According to The Hill, a PwC survey released today (August 6) found that 86% of financial services executives believe AI training is more valuable for entry-level employees than an MBA degree. The survey of over 1,000 executives in the financial services industry also revealed that 91% of respondents are already raising salaries for employees with AI skills, while 58% are willing to offer additional compensation to workers proficient in emerging technologies.
Meanwhile, MBA starting salaries are declining. The average starting salary for MBA graduates is projected to fall to $120,000 this year from $125,000 last year, though this remains higher than the $72,000 average for bachelor's degree holders.
