According to Jin10, Houthi forces claimed attacks on Saudi tankers on August 5, prompting a total of 29 vessels to withdraw from the Red Sea and Arabian Sea. Separately, U.S. President Trump stated that a U.S.-Iran agreement could be reached within 48 hours, with a 50% likelihood of success. Additionally, Iran's Foreign Ministry said it was close to reaching a Hormuz Strait agreement with Oman, though the new shipping corridor would be usable for only 2 to 4 months.
