According to CryptoQuant, Uniswap (UNI) whale withdrawals from Binance accelerated this month to their fastest pace in five years, with top wallet outflows averaging more than 7,200 UNI daily and some days topping 10,000 tokens. The pattern points to accumulation rather than panic selling, as large holders appear to be treating recent weakness as an entry point. UNI last traded near $3.96, up 1.71% over 24 hours, with a market capitalization of approximately $2.47 billion.
The accumulation coincided with a governance vote in late July expanding Uniswap's fee and burn mechanism to version 4 (v4) pools, building on mechanisms already active on v2 and v3 pools. A parallel vote extended the same mechanism to Robinhood Chain, the blockchain network built by trading platform Robinhood, creating an additional revenue stream for UNI burns.
