US and UK Reaffirm Stablecoin and Tokenization Regulatory Cooperation on July 8

According to Cointelegraph, on July 8 at the 13th Financial Regulatory Working Group (FRWG) meeting in London, the US and UK reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening financial regulatory cooperation. The two countries discussed stablecoin regulation, digital asset market structure, tokenization, and the UK's wholesale financial market digitalization strategy. The joint statement noted US progress on the GENIUS Act and endorsed "responsible" digital asset innovation while emphasizing financial stability and international regulatory coordination. On July 14, the Transatlantic Task Force on Markets (TTMF) released preliminary recommendations on stablecoins and a joint statement, laying groundwork for continued US-UK leadership in digital assets and capital markets.
