Jin10 reported on August 22 that on Thursday, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 5 to 4 to allow the Trump administration to cancel hundreds of millions of dollars in research funding related to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs, partially overturning a previous ruling by a federal judge in Boston that had blocked the cuts.
