ETH at $1,570—what are you waiting for?

On the eve of the Glamsterdam upgrade, ETFs have seen continuous outflows. Just as July started, the price slid from $1,600 to $1,570.

ETH is down 47% from the beginning of the year. And from its peak of $4,946 in August 2025, it has fallen a full 68%.

A $100k house now worth only $32k—are you selling it or not?

First thing: The bad news you see—whales see it all as discounts.

Last week, Bitmine bought 27,084 ETH at an average price of $1,550. Big-risk-investment whales moved in at the same time. Spark injected $150 million in stablecoin liquidity into Uniswap v4, and the Aave network is growing.

Tom Lee put it plainly: the recent drop is mainly “window dressing” at the end of Q2—not deterioration in fundamentals.

Meaning: fund managers dump risk assets before the quarter ends to make the reports look good, then rebuild positions once Q3 starts.

Second thing: Glamsterdam’s upgrade—this could be the biggest expectation gap this year.

Many people don’t even know about this— in the second half of 2026, Ethereum will see its first major base-layer throughput upgrade since the Merge.

Lower L2 fees again, and the adoption threshold for institutions drops significantly.

This isn’t minor patchwork. This is a key step for Ethereum to turn from a “congested highway” into an “eight-lane road.”

Third thing: what is the technical picture telling you?

Weekly chart: from $4,946 to around $1,500—down 68% in total. Historically, every time Ethereum has seen a 70%+ drawdown, it has corresponded to a stage bottom.

Daily chart: $1,520–$1,550 is a strong demand zone. Over the past few months, it has bounced there multiple times. Now the price is at $1,570, only $20–$50 away from the support zone.

Resistance above: $1,600–$1,690 (break above this range and shorts surrender)

Support below: $1,520–$1,500 (below $1,480, longs are dead)

One-sentence summary: this is the last line of defense for the bulls—and the exact level the shorts most want to punch through.

Longs vs. shorts logic—judge for yourself.

**Bulls say:**

Whales are accumulating heavily at $1,550.

The Glamsterdam upgrade is the biggest upgrade since the Merge.

DeFi TVL, stablecoin usage, and RWA usage are all growing.

Historical pattern: the 3 months before an upgrade are the best buying window.

From $4,946 to $1,570—a 68% drop—how much lower can it go?

**Bears say:**

ETF outflows keep going, and institutions are trimming positions.

Macro is a headwind; the Fed may not cut rates all year.

The ETH/BTC ratio hits a new low, with capital concentrating into BTC.

$1,570 isn’t even at $1,500 yet—there may still be another leg down.

If you’re already holding and underwater:

Don’t cut. You didn’t cut at $4,000. You didn’t cut at $2,000. So why cut at $1,570 now?

If you really want to cut, wait for a bounce to $1,700–$1,800 before considering trimming. Cutting now is just sending bloody chips to the whales.

If you’re sitting on empty and want to bottom-fish:

Buy in batches in the $1,520–$1,550 range, set a stop loss at $1,480, target $1,700–$1,800, and then look as far as $2,000+.

Keep position size to 20–30% of total capital—don’t go all-in at once.

For long-term believers:

From $1,500 to $1,600—close your eyes and DCA. Hold for half a year to a year, waiting for the Glamsterdam upgrade to be realized. Target $3,000–$5,000.

When BTC went from $15,000 to $73,000, you didn’t buy.

When ETH went from $880 to $4,946, you also didn’t buy.

Now it has fallen back to $1,570, and you still don’t dare to buy.

The reason you can’t make money isn’t that the market is bad—it’s that you always believe it will keep going up when it’s up, and keep going down when it’s down.

ETH at $1,570 is like $300 in 2020, or $1,500 in 2023.

Back then, how many times did people who didn’t dare to buy end up slapping their thighs?#Gate完成141只股票股息派发 #Strategy拟回购股票 #预测世界杯英格兰VS刚果 $BTC $ETH $SOL

Thanks to OKX for the invitation. It seems many people still don't know what this is. Let me explain it in plain and simple terms: Short term: there's an additional smart assistant tool that can call professional agents to help you trade/analyze. Medium term: an opportunity to productize your trading skills and sell them for money. Long term: keep up with the big trend of Crypto+AI, and the tools and opportunities in the OKX ecosystem will continue to grow. Like👍

Most people’s dilemma when buying Sol memes:
They buy early low-cap tokens—and they all get rugged to zero.
After finally getting one that works, doubling it or making 30%, they take profit and run.
Then it pumps to 5m, 10m—beating their chests in regret—so they keep playing the next new one and get rugged again.
But you don’t dare touch high-cap tokens. Even if others hype them up endlessly, you can’t stomach the risk of a few thousand dollars going to zero.
So when playing Solana, don’t be afraid that someone gets rich—go ahead and try boldly.

$59,000 BTC, are you cutting losses?

In early January it was still struggling at 78k, now it’s straight to 58k, down 33% year-to-date, down 45% over the year. The K-line tells you: from last October’s ATH of 126k to now, every bounce has been firmly suppressed at 60-62k, lower highs and lower lows—a textbook bear market structure.

First thing: ETFs have gone from "money printers" to "drain pumps."

When ETFs were approved last year, how many people shouted "institutional bull run is here"?

Now? BlackRock leads the outflows, tens of billions flowing out per week, setting a record for consecutive outflow days. Institutions aren’t charity; they’re here to make money. When the market turns bad, they run a thousand times faster than you.

MicroStrategy and those big BTC holders are also stirring, mining difficulty is still rising, cost pressure is increasing. Supply side isn’t decreasing, demand side is pulling back—why would the price go up?

Second thing: Macro is still "stabbing in the back."

The Fed—Powell 2.0, even more hawkish than 1.0.

Employment data is ridiculously good, inflation stubbornly stays above 3%, CME futures tell you directly: 2026 is highly likely to have no rate cuts, possibly even hikes.

The dollar is rising, Treasury yields are rising, money is all flowing to "safe assets." High beta risk assets like BTC? Who’s playing with you.

AI sectors in the stock market are also crashing, risk-off sentiment dominates everything. If the broader market doesn’t recover, BTC trying to go bull independently? Dream on.

Third thing: Technically at a "live or die" threshold.

58k.

Hold → Could brew a bounce to 62k

Fail → Next stop 55k, then 53k, extreme case 50k

On the daily chart, all moving averages are overhead, price is like being held underwater. RSI neutral to weak, MACD barely alive, no oversold, no strong bounce signal.

Weekly is even uglier—CHoCH (change of character) already confirmed, this is a bear market correction, don’t fight the trend.

Long vs short, you decide

Bulls say:

58k is a strong psychological level, tested multiple times without breaking, buy orders still there

Halving cycle effect is still in play, historically every deep pullback is a golden pit

Long-term adoption narrative isn’t broken, digital gold story still holds

Once macro turns (rate cut expectations rise), BTC has the most elasticity

Bears say:

ETF outflows continue, institutions are retreating

Macro "higher for longer," liquidity keeps tightening

Technically all bounces rejected, trend is downward

If 58k breaks, there’s no decent support below

Key levels

Resistance above: 60k → 62k (strong resistance cluster, rejected many times) → 65k → 70,000

Support below: 58k (last line of defense) → 55k → 53k → 50k

Short-term traders:

Hold steady above 62k with volume breakout → go long, target 65k-68k

Confirm breakdown below 58k → exit, or small short, target 55k-53k

Swing traders:

Buy in batches below 58k, sell in batches above 62k.

Range trading strategy: accumulate near 58k, distribute near 62k

Must set stop loss, exit long if below 57.5k

Long-term believers:

DCA, DCA, and DCA again.

Step up below 55k, buy blind below 50k

Don’t go all-in, use spare money you won’t need for years

Position sizing:

Single entry no more than 5-10% of total capital

Always keep cash, always have a backup plan

Bitcoin has retraced 53% from its ATH.

53%—what does that mean?

In the 2021 bull market, the maximum drawdown was 60%+

And then? It went from 30k to 69k

Later after ETF approval, it went from 40k straight to 126k

Every time you think "this time is different, Bitcoin is going to zero," it’s the bottom.

Every time you think "this time it’s stable, forever up," it’s the top.

$59,000 BTC, do you think it’s expensive?

A year ago it was above 100k, now it’s at 60% off.

If you believe in the halving cycle, institutional adoption, and the digital gold narrative—now is the time to be greedy.

But if you haven’t figured out what you’re holding, you’ll cut at 50k just the same.#Gate完成141只股票股息派发 #Strategy拟回购股票 $ETH $SOL $BTC

🚨 Bitcoin whale activity is surging.

CryptoQuant data shows the largest spike in whale holdings ever recorded.

🐋 What's happening:

• More than 270,000 $BTC ‌ accumulated near $59,000
• Historic increase in whale balances
• Strong accumulation despite recent market weakness
• Long-term players continue adding exposure

When smart money accumulates during fear, it's usually worth paying attention.

The question is: what do they see that the market doesn't?

🚀 Solana is holding up better than much of the crypto market right now.

Key drivers:

• Rising on-chain volume
• Growing focus on RWA and tokenization use cases
• Strong ecosystem activity relative to competitors
• Improving market participation

A push toward $100 looks achievable if these trends continue attracting liquidity.

That said, Bitcoin still sets the tone for the entire market, so any SOL outlook should be viewed within the context of broader $BTC ‌ price action.

For me, $SOL ‌ remains a strong mid-term trading candidate at current levels.

$64 HYPE, are you buying?

69% of retail traders are massively long, and 72% of top traders are also long—the long/short ratio is overwhelmingly one-sided—

When everyone is bullish, that's often when the big players want to dump.

On the surface, the price rebounded from $60 to $64, and the bulls seem to have the upper hand.

But if you only look at the price and not the structure, you're not far from getting rekt.

First thing: $76 is the ceiling—every time it spikes up, it gets slammed back down.

HYPE once surged to $76.87—an all-time high—and then got brutally smashed back down.

Now the price is hovering around $63-$65, already down 16% from the high.

The MACD histogram is narrowing, short-term moving averages are turning downward, and the RSI has retreated from overbought territory.

The Bollinger Bands are tightening—a breakout is imminent.

Second thing: Institutions are running, retail is charging in.

According to on-chain data:

a16z-related addresses dumped $10 million in two days.

On July 6, another 9.9 million tokens unlock—worth $678 million, accounting for over 10% of the circulating supply.

Singapore's MAS just added Hyperliquid to its investor alert list.

Do you think institutions are here to do value investing with you?

They are already distributing in batches.

Even worse—after 16 consecutive days of net inflows, ETFs saw their first capital outflow on June 30.

Third thing: Fundamentals are ridiculously strong, but the price just won't move.

The platform's cumulative revenue has exceeded $1.02 billion.

Annualized run rate is close to $840 million.

97%-99% of transaction fees are used to buy back and burn HYPE directly.

Cumulative buybacks have exceeded $2 billion.

TVL is at $5.75 billion.

With such strong fundamentals, why isn't the price rising?

Because no matter how good the fundamentals are, they can't withstand the physical law of a "$678 million unlock."

The bull-bear showdown, you decide.

On one side:

Annual revenue exceeds $1 billion, 99% of fees used for buybacks and burns.

Cumulative buybacks exceed $2 billion—the strongest deflationary mechanism in the industry.

Bitwise ETF attracted $111 million in a single week, with real institutional money flowing in.

Multicoin called a target price of $319.

It doesn't dip when the broader market falls, holding firmly at $60.

On the other side:

On July 6, $678 million unlocks—the largest single unlock in history.

a16z dumped $10 million in two days.

69% retail long + 72% top trader long = reverse indicator maxed out.

Singapore's MAS flagged it for regulation.

Daily chart "head and shoulders" pattern—if it breaks below $55, next stop is $30.

Key levels:

Resistance above: $65-$66 (repeatedly tested and failed) → $70-$72 → $76.87 (previous ATH).

Support below: $62 (strong support, multiple bounces) → $59-$60 → $55-$56 (head and shoulders neckline).

If it breaks below $60, next target is $55, then $50.

For those already holding:

Reduce position in batches near $65-$66, at least 50% out. Place a stop loss at $59 for the rest; exit if it breaks.

Must significantly reduce position before July 6—don't gamble on the unlock.

For those empty-handed wanting to buy the dip:

Either wait for a retrace to the $59-$60 range, and only enter lightly after seeing a bullish candle with volume. Stop loss at $55, target first at $65-$66. Or wait for a breakout above $66 with volume to confirm the bullish continuation before chasing.

If you absolutely must trade futures:

You can try shorting lightly near $66, stop loss at $68.5, target $60-$55. Don't be greedy—this thing can violently pump at any time.

Position sizing:

No single trade more than 5-8% of total capital.

HYPE swings 20% like it's nothing.

Going all-in = asking to die.

Can you buy HYPE now?

Do you want to bet at $64 that it becomes the next "SOL of the ETF bull run,"

Or do you want to cry at $50, saying "I should have run away"?

HYPE's fundamentals are indeed strong—$1 billion annual revenue, $2 billion buybacks, ETF capital inflows—all true.

But the current price structure tells you:

It can't hold above $76, and the $678 million unlock on July 6 will crush everything.

Be fearful when others are greedy, be greedy when others are fearful.

But the problem now is—

69% of retail and 72% of top traders are all greedy.#Gate完成141只股票股息派发 #Strategy拟回购股票 #特朗普披露持有超1亿美元BTCETH $BTC $ETH $HYPE

🤯 $12.1 Trillion has been wiped out from Gold and Silver since their peak.

To put that into perspective:

• That's roughly 6x the entire crypto market cap
• Trillions in value erased from traditional safe-haven assets
• One of the largest wealth contractions seen across commodity markets

Makes you realize that volatility isn't exclusive to crypto.

Visa and BlackRock Are Now Starting to Take Aim at USDC’s Business

Circle’s stock price vanished—down 17.55% in a single day.

All because of one piece of news.

More than 140 top global institutions teamed up and launched a stablecoin together.

Visa, Mastercard, Stripe, BlackRock, Google, Coinbase—if you can name it, it’s on the list.

They named this stablecoin Open USD (OUSD).

I know what you’re thinking—another stablecoin, so what?

But this time, it’s truly different.

Over the past decade, there have been at least eighty stablecoins challenging USDT and USDC. GUSD, FDUSD, TUSD—every kind of algorithmic stablecoin and regional stablecoin. In the end, they all ran into the same reality: USDT monopolizes exchange liquidity, while USDC occupies the U.S. compliant entry point.

Network effects. You issue a hundred stablecoins—people still use USDC. What can you do?

But OUSD is playing a different game this time.

It’s not competing with you on compliance. It’s not competing with you on transparency—it's going straight for your business model.

Do you know how Circle and Tether make money?

It’s simple. You deposit $1, and they issue you 1 USDC. Then they take your $1 and buy U.S. Treasuries, earning 4%-5% annual interest—every cent goes straight into their own pockets.

The larger the stablecoin market cap, the more they earn. USDC’s current circulating supply is about $73.6 billion. Just by harvesting the interest rate spread, that’s billions of dollars in profit every year.

And OUSD says: this money won’t be shared with the issuer—it’ll be shared with partners.

Visa, Mastercard, Stripe, Coinbase—these distribution players help OUSD with distribution and settlement, and most of the interest generated from reserves is returned to them.

Free minting, free redemption, and no upper limit on issuance.

Think about it: if you’re Stripe—back then, you helped Circle push USDC, and the money was earned by Circle. Now OUSD says, “You help promote us—the money is yours.” Who would you pick?

That’s the real reason Circle’s stock fell 17.55% in a day.

Not panic. Just plain, well-calculated numbers.

A Macquarie analyst put it bluntly: Visa and Mastercard are no longer merely “channels supporting third-party stablecoins.” They’re now the masters of the stablecoin ecosystem.

When the channel becomes the master, the way the whole pie is sliced changes too.

But there’s another side to the story.

A William Blair analyst said the market is overreacting. ARK Invest’s head of research said OUSD is essentially like a “DAO of multiple competitors,” and governance efficiency could be a major problem.

140 competing companies sit together to make decisions—how efficient do you think that can be?

Circle’s Jeremy Allaire also fired back on X: “USDC remains the most trusted, most widely adopted, and the most institutionally mature stablecoin in the world.”

Tether’s Paolo Ardoino was even more direct—he simply posted: “Welcome OUSD, Player 2 has entered.”

Notice his wording—Player 2.

In Tether’s eyes, USDC is Player 1. OUSD? You’ll have to beat USDC first.

So what does any of this mean for retail investors?

First, the stablecoin track has finally started to heat up.

In the past, USDT and USDC were a duopoly—there wasn’t much choice for you. Now 140 giants are entering with real money. Competition is always good for users.

Second, don’t just obsess over “who is more stable.”

The future of stablecoins isn’t about who is more “transparent”—it’s about who can make the channel partners earn more. Whoever controls the channels controls the lifeline of stablecoins.

If OUSD can truly run a “revenue sharing” model, it isn’t stealing users from USDC—it’s stealing partners from USDC. And partners are the real moat of a stablecoin.

Third—and this is the most painful point:

You think stablecoins are infrastructure, but actually they’re a business. Whoever makes the money gets to call the shots.

Before, Circle and Tether made the money, so they called the shots.

Now Visa and BlackRock want to make money themselves—and the rules of the game are about to change.

If OUSD really goes live, will your stablecoin holdings keep being mostly USDC, or will you move part of them to OUSD?

Oh, and by the way—Coinbase is also one of OUSD’s partners. Guess whether it will quietly send OUSD more traffic on its own exchange?#Gate完成141只股票股息派发 #Strategy拟回购股票 $BTC #特朗普披露持有超1亿美元BTCETH $ETH $SOL

This is a set of peripherals I’ve been really looking forward to

Received it today, unboxing with full anticipation
Originally 2000 RMB on JD.com
And this is a custom edition
Tencent EO @Haiteng_okx said this VIP custom set costs a lot, carefully crafted for VIP service
I can feel it, but not just because of a peripheral set
The essence of VIP service is the embodiment of details
The most prominent section in my OKX App is the chat group
And the most prominent within it is the VIP service small group set up for me
Official subscription events, wealth management activities, offline events, birthday gifts, etc., all get timely reminders
That’s pretty good, maybe there are others
But overall, it makes me feel that this is VIP treatment
This peripheral set requires dual qualification: VIP and trading volume
Here, @mia_okx Milly also contacted and arranged the group setup immediately. If you want to become a VIP, you can directly reach out to Milly.
I’ve already opened it and started using it, not for collecting
The feel is nice, and typing is faster
The positioning is also stable
