Why did Bitcoin get “caught in the blast” the day the B-1B bombed Iran?

US Air Force B-1B strategic bombers are heading toward targets in Iran.

Gold is up. Oil is up.

But Bitcoin and tech stocks are down together.

Why did the “digital gold” safe-haven narrative fail this time?

On July 21, the US deployed the B-1B “Lancer” long-range strategic bomber for the first time in this round of conflict to strike targets of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. This is the US military’s bomber with the largest payload capacity, capable of carrying 24 2,000-pound-class bombs—putting it into action means the intensity of the war has entered a new phase.

Iran’s response? “An eye for an eye”—it vowed to attack energy facilities across the Middle East. The speaker of Iran’s parliament also made a strong statement: “In regions where we can’t sell crude oil, nobody else will be able to sell crude oil.”

The Houthis then followed up, striking two Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea.

With the Strait of Hormuz + the Strait of Mandeb, the two major Middle East crude oil export routes were squeezed at the same time.

Then the market started reacting.

On July 23, Brent crude futures surged 7.04%, closing at $100.69 per barrel—first time since May it broke above $100. WTI rose 6.17%, closing at $92.19.

Inflation expectations instantly ignited. The yield on the US 10-year Treasury broke above 4.7%, hitting the highest level since January 2025. The 2-year yield rose to 4.35%.

Then, Bitcoin got “bombed.”

BTC fell back to the mid-$64,000 range, while ETH slid to around $1,800, reversing the previous week’s gains. Crypto-related stocks crashed in sync—Strategy fell 6.38%, Bitmine fell 6.48%.

In the past 24 hours, the crypto market saw liquidations of more than $250 million, with $188 million coming from long positions.

You think it’s war safe-haven? The market is using $250 million in liquidations to tell you: you’re thinking too much.

Why?

Because the market isn’t pricing in “the war” itself—it’s pricing in the “sticky inflation” caused by the war.

The transmission chain looks like this:

Middle East conflict escalates → B-1B deployed for the first time (war intensity changes phase) → Oil supply risk premium → Brent breaks above 100 → July CPI energy sub-index reverses the falling trend → Inflation expectations rise again → Pressure builds on end-of-month PCE → FOMC policy room narrows → Repricing of interest rates → Contraction in risk-asset valuations → Crypto + tech stocks fall together

Got it?

The closer oil gets to 100, the tighter interest-rate expectations get by one notch, and the lower Bitcoin’s valuation ceiling gets by one notch.

CME data shows the probability of a US Fed rate hike in September has exceeded 80%, up nearly 30 percentage points from the prior week. The probability of holding rates steady in July is 65.3%, but the hike probability has risen to 34.7%.

What cooled June’s CPI? It relied on a sharp drop in energy prices. Now that oil has returned to 100, that cooling logic is directly broken.

BlackRock estimates that this conflict will raise global headline inflation by about 0.8 percentage points.

0.8 points is enough to pin the Fed to the rate-hike table with no room to move.

So why did Bitcoin get “bombed”?

Because Bitcoin is now a “tech stock with crypto attributes,” not a “gold with digital attributes.”

Gold rises because it’s the ultimate safe-haven asset, hedging geopolitical uncertainty.

Bitcoin falls because it’s a risk asset, priced by liquidity and rate expectations.

Geopolitical conflict → Oil prices rise → Inflation rises → Rates are hard to cut → Liquidity tightens → Risk-asset valuations contract

As long as this chain keeps running day after day, Bitcoin can’t “seek refuge” day after day.

Only by accepting this reality can you understand the current market.

Didn’t expect that this time
Iran and Trump are both so tough
And they’re not backing down at all

The current macro environment is arriving faster and bigger than expected.
It’s clearly bad for risk assets.

As of now:
The US Dollar Index has risen to about 101.45, nearing a three-week high;
The yield on the US 10-year Treasury has risen to about 4.71%, and the 30-year is above 5.1%. Oil prices have broken back above $100; risks to Middle East shipping and the US’s next round of tariffs are jointly pushing up inflation expectations.

For BTC, gold, and tech stocks, this means triple pressure from real interest rates, the dollar, and risk premium.
And we haven’t even entered August yet—they’re already being suppressed and pulled back.

This month’s key point is: the state of the US-Iran situation and the Federal Reserve’s rate decision outlook on the 28th–29th.

Didn’t expect it this time—both Iran and Trump are being this confrontational, with absolutely no sign of backing down.
The current macro environment is arriving faster and bigger than expected, which is clearly unfavorable for risk assets.

As of now:
The US Dollar Index rises to about 101.45, nearing a three-week high;
The yield on the US 10-year Treasury rises to about 4.71%, and the 30-year rate exceeds 5.1%. Oil prices have broken back above $100, and Middle East shipping risks along with the US’s next round of tariffs are jointly pushing up inflation expectations.

For BTC, gold, and tech stocks, this means triple pressure from real interest rates, the US dollar, and risk premia.

Previously, when we used AI, it was like borrowing someone else’s tools—you’d use them and then move on.
Now, the direction of AI agents is: having your own intelligent assistant. It can remember your preferences, follow your rules, and help you handle repetitive tasks (reading news, managing schedules, monitoring prices, and so on). This way, you don’t have to spend a lot of effort on trivial matters every day—you can focus on more important things.

MU worth $985—are you in panic or greed?

First, look at the surface: a 20% pullback from the highs. Retail investors are panicking and exiting the top.

One month ago it hit an all-time high at 1,255, then quickly slid back to the 950–1,000 area, with a maximum drawdown of about 20%. Currently, it’s choppy around 985, with daily price swings often exceeding 5–8%. The demand zone at 950–975 has been defended multiple times; MACD turns bullish, RSI rebounds from oversold. Once the pullback is over, the third leg of the main uptrend could start any time.

First thing: earnings blew through the ceiling—yet you’re still afraid of “good news being already priced in”?

Q3 revenue was $41.46 billion, up 346% year over year; EPS was $25.11; gross margin surged to 85%. Q4 guidance is even stronger—revenue of $50 billion, EPS of $31, gross margin of 86%.

DRAM is in short supply, and HBM capacity is getting snapped up all the way to 2028. Customers are lining up to pay. The company has already signed hard multi-year “no buy means penalties” agreements with 16 big players, locking in $22 billion in revenue.

Second thing: China’s AI models are not threatening—if anything, they’re boosting demand.

After Moonshot’s Kimi series open-source models came out, the market briefly panicked that “China’s low-cost AI will replace memory demand.” So what happened? BofA directly raised its target price—the logic flipped—

The cheaper and more widespread AI models become, the greater the memory demand on edge devices and at the endpoint. This isn’t replacement—it’s a multiplier effect.

Third thing: the technicals show a textbook-level “false breakout.”

From 1,255 down to 934, the drop exceeded 20%, and retail panicked, calling it a “double top.” But if you look closely—between 950–975, it gets tested repeatedly without breaking. The pullbacks shrink on volume while the rebounds expand on volume—this is a standard “demand zone accumulation” pattern.

The key is 1,050: a volume-backed breakout directly opens the 1,100–1,200 space; if it keeps dragging, then wait for a deeper ditch at 850–950.

Bull versus bear—you decide.

One side says:

Revenue up 346% YoY, Q4 guidance $50 billion, gross margin 85%

Management: “Supply shortage at least through 2027–2028”

16 blue-chip giants sign long-term deals, locking in $22 billion revenue; BofA target price 1,550

950–975 demand zone defended three times; technicals show a bottom structure

The other side says:

Down 20% from 1,255—captive holders need time to digest

Overcrowded trading in the sector; Put options show unusual activity

AI infrastructure cost concerns keep being hyped

If it breaks below 850, the trend needs to be reassessed

Key levels

Resistance overhead: 1,050–1,100 → 1,200–1,255 (prior all-time highs)

Support below: 950–975 → 850–900 (a deeper “golden pit”)

For short-term traders:

Test long with a light position around 985; stop out below 930; first target 1,050–1,100. Don’t add without a volume-backed breakout above 1,050; don’t chase—perpetual volatility is too high.

For mid-term investors:

Build positions in tranches from 850–950—this is the “value zone” recognized by institutions; targets are 1,500+ (BofA target price). The next big catalyst is the Q4 earnings report (late September).

For long-term believers:

The AI memory supercycle is only in Chapter 2; management even said themselves it’s “still early.” Target 2,000+ by end of 2027—the bet is that HBM demand surges and supply stays chronically tight.

Risk-control iron rule:

Risk per trade at 2–3% of total position; don’t let perpetual leverage exceed 3x. If it breaks below 850 and volume expands, exit first and stay on the sidelines.

MU now looks like NVDA in 2021—

Gold worth $4,050—are you going to buy the dip?

First look at the surface: the more chaotic the geopolitics, the more gold falls.

Today intraday it dropped more than 2%, plunging from 4,140 straight to 4,040, with the low probing around 4,040. The daily chart has already fallen below the 21-day SMA. The 50-day, 100-day, and 200-day SMAs are all overhead, and the 100-day has crossed below the 200-day to form a death cross. Short-term pessimism is at its extreme; the 4,000 level is the final line of defense.

First: a geopolitical crisis erupted, but gold got “mis-killed” instead.

The U.S. has launched strikes on Iran for the 12th night in a row, and the Houthis announced a blockade of key Red Sea shipping routes. About 7% of the world’s oil transport has been cut off, and oil prices jumped straight to 90+.

Sounds like you should buy gold for hedging? But the market’s current logic is: oil prices surge → inflation expectations spike → the Fed dares not cut rates → real yields rise → gold gets sold off.

What is “mis-kill”? This is it. Scatter

Second: central banks are buying, while ETFs are selling—who’s lying?

Global central banks (especially in emerging markets) keep net buying gold. The annual outlook is 750-1,000 tons, providing a long-term floor price. This is the core reason gold can hold above 4,000.

But on the other side, ETF outflows continue, and speculative longs are clearly reducing positions—retail traders are loudly shouting “gold is dead.”

Central banks buy gold for strategic allocation, measured in years

Retail sells gold for emotional reactions, measured in days

Central banks’ buying volume is more than 3 times the outflow from ETFs

Third: the technicals tell you—4,000 is the “diamond bottom.”

Daily RSI is around 49, neutral—neither overbought nor oversold. But at this level, like BTC at $60k, it’s a transaction-dense zone lasting for months.

What are 4,000-4,050? It’s the pullback confirmation zone for the 2025 bull market, the average cost area of central bank gold purchases, and the cost line of the world’s largest gold ETF holdings.

But don’t forget—next week’s July 29 FOMC. If the Fed turns more hawkish, gold could drop further to 3,900-3,950. But that isn’t a reason to panic—it’s an opportunity to add.

The battle between bulls and bears—judge for yourself

One side says:

Central banks buy 750-1,000 tons of gold per year, providing long-term support

U.S.-Iran conflict + Red Sea blockade—geopolitical risk is real

4,000-4,050 is a historical transaction-dense area + a psychological threshold

De-dollarization + fiscal deficit narrative is still ongoing; institutions target 5,200

The other side says:

Oil prices surge → inflation expectations heat up → the Fed turns even more hawkish

The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield is approaching its two-month high

A death cross forms; the medium-term technical picture is bearish

Before the FOMC, longs don’t dare to enter in size

Key levels

Upper resistance: 4,100 → 4,140-4,165 → 4,243 (50-day SMA)

Lower support: 4,000 (strong psychology + prior low transaction density) → 3,960-3,950 → 3,900

Short-term:

If around 4,050 rebounds but lacks strength, try short with a light position. Target 4,000-4,020. Stop-loss above 4,120. If a pullback to 4,000-4,020 stabilizes and a hammer candle appears, you can lightly go long. Target 4,080-4,100. Stop-loss at 3,980.

Medium-term:

Wait until after the FOMC lands before acting. If rate-hike expectations heat up, build longs in batches at 3,900-3,950; if inflation data weakens and price breaks above 4,100, chase. The 4,000-4,240 range will likely consolidate—sell the highs and buy the lows. Only consider medium-term long positions after a break above 4,243.

Long-term allocation:

Build bottom positions in batches at 3,900-4,000. The institution’s 5,200 logic hasn’t changed—central bank gold buying + de-dollarization + fiscal deficit are the “three long-term insurance policies.” Add one more tranche every time price drops 100 points, and hold until mid-2027.

Gold right now is like BTC in March 2020—

99% of people think “the safe-haven asset is failing; gold will go to zero,” and the result is that central banks keep buying and institutions keep stockpiling—later it rose from 4,000 to 5,500. #Gate事件合约首发狂欢 #夏日创作营 #GOOGL财报亮眼但盘后跌超3% $BTC $XAU $XAUT

ZAMA worth $0.053—are you chasing it?

First, look at the surface: a vertical jump, a vertical jump, or a vertical jump.

In 24 hours it surged from 0.039 to 0.054, up 38.59%. In a week it rose over 60%, and in a month it gained 70%. The daily chart has a bullish alignment; the 4-hour Bollinger Bands are widening, and the upper band at 0.0503 has been holding firmly with real bodies. Volume has expanded significantly—volume and price are cooperating. Strong, yes—but it’s already overbought to the point of suffocation.

First thing: What is FHE? 99% of people still don’t get it, so the breakout can keep running.

ZK proves “I know the secret,” and FHE lets data be computed in encrypted form. Plainly translated: ZK labels privacy, while FHE makes privacy itself tradable, able to generate yield, and compliant.

Zama has already launched its mainnet. Confidential assets like cUSDT are already running. It’s also partnering with T-REX to launch an institutional-grade privacy layer for RWA tokenization. Even Ethereum’s official ecosystem summaries have named Zama—turning the narrative from “another privacy coin” into “Ethereum privacy infrastructure.”

Second thing: Multicoin is giving a call—but you don’t dare to chase.

On July 23, Multicoin Capital’s managing partner publicly stated: long term, they’re bullish on ZAMA and ZEC.

Same kind of institutional calls: the first time it jumped 20%, the second time 30%, and the third time—maybe 50% after the release of the Q2 report on July 27.

What does “missing the train” mean? It’s when institutions quietly build positions at 0.02, then publicly call at 0.05—while you’re still hesitating over “should I chase it or not.”

Third thing: Overbought, unlocks, FOMC—three mines hanging over your head at the same time.

First, overbought—1-hour RSI spikes to 74.24. The daily RSI is near 80 or even higher. If you chase from this level, a pullback means 10-20%.

Next, unlocks—on July 2, it just unlocked 27.95 million tokens, worth about $8.69 million. In May it also dumped 279 million tokens, accounting for over 12% of the circulating supply.

Finally, the macro—July 29 FOMC. The market is betting on no rate hike, but the Iran situation is pushing up oil prices, and inflation uncertainties are still there.

Bull vs bear—judge for yourself

One side is:

Up 50% weekly, up 60% monthly—trend crushes the broader market

Exclusive FHE track, recognized by Ethereum’s official side, with a hard institutional compliance narrative

Multicoin openly calls it a long-term positive

Fee burn + staking lockups—34% of the circulating supply has already been staked

The other side is:

RSI extremely overbought—pullbacks of 10-20% could happen anytime

Consecutive large unlocks—just hit $8.69 million worth dumped on July 2

Broad market Fear+high volatility—chasing the price carries very high risk

Circulating supply is only about 20% of total—future VC unlock pressure is huge

Key levels

Resistance: 0.055-0.057 → 0.06+

Support: 0.047-0.050 → 0.040-0.041 → 0.038

For short-term traders:

Wait for a pullback to 0.047-0.050 and for it to stabilize (with shrinking volume), then buy in batches at low levels. Stop loss: 0.043-0.045. Targets: 0.055-0.062.

For swing traders:

Watch the July 27 Q2 Shielded report and the July 29 FOMC. These two timestamps could ignite volatility. If the pullback doesn’t break 0.047, you can add to the position, keeping it at 5-10% of total capital.

For long-term believers:

FHE is the bottom-layer technological revolution in the privacy track. But note—circulating supply is only 20%, and the unlock pressure afterward is huge. Recommend DCA; don’t load up all at once.

ZAMA now is like early 2024’s SOL—

Is $1,920 ETH a dip-buy opportunity?

First, look at the surface: from 1,500 to 1,920, it rebounded nearly 20% in a month.

In the past week, it’s up just 1-2%, monthly gain 13-16%, and market cap at $232 billion keeps it in second place. 24-hour trading volume is $9-10 billion, with a tight intraday range of 1,912-1,955. The upward channel is intact, making consecutive higher highs and higher lows, already above the 50-day moving average. RSI is 60-65—bullish but not overbought. MACD has a bullish crossover confirming it. A breakout is near—don’t get shaken out.

First thing: the Foundation cuts staff by 20%, but you got scared silly by clickbait.

The Ethereum Foundation layoffs are about 20%, with a 40% budget reduction, splitting out new organizations focused on institutions, privacy, and scalability.

Sounds scary? Retail’s first reaction: “The team is gone, ETH is finished.”

But if you look closely—that’s streamlined focus, not money running away. With the same news, weak projects would just collapse. ETH bounced from 1,860 to 1,920.

Second thing: 33.9% of staking is locked up—ETH on the market is almost getting lent out dry.

About 40.9 million ETH are staked, 33.9% of the total. The exit queue goes to zero; to enter the queue takes another 43 days. Average APR is only 2.64%, yet institutions are rushing to lock.

There’s less and less ETH available for trading—sell pressure dries up.

Newly bought ETH must wait 43 days to redeem, and liquidity tightens further.

This is exactly the same logic as the 2020 BTC halving—supply contraction, just waiting for demand to ignite.

Arthur Hayes just added 1,332 ETH. BitMine’s holdings are already 5.78 million ETH, nearing 5% of the total supply.

Third thing: ETF inflows have restarted—institutions are back.

US spot ETH ETF daily inflows hit the $100 million scale at the peak, with BlackRock’s ETHA leading. In April there were 10 straight days of inflows over $600 million; now it’s only the second round after a mid-course break.

ETFs aren’t here to hand out money—they’re here to set the price. Every round of inflows is lifting ETH’s bottom.

Fourth thing: the macro crossroads—July 29th FOMC decides life or death.

June CPI year-over-year came in at 3.5%, below expectations, with month-over-month at -0.4%, the largest single-month drop in recent years. The odds of rate hikes have fallen to single digits.

But don’t get too happy yet—geopolitical conflict with Iran pushes oil prices up, the VIX fear index rises, and “higher rates for longer” expectations are still there.

July 29th FOMC: is it the catalyst for ETH to break above 2,000, or the hammer that knocks it back to 1,800? We’ll know this week.

Long vs short—you decide.

On one side:
Staking ratio is 33.9%, and tradable circulating supply keeps shrinking.
The Foundation’s negative news is ignored, and the market is extremely strong.
ETF inflows resume, and institutional allocation warms up.
Arthur Hayes + BitMine keep adding.

On the other side:
It failed to break through 1,945-1,950 three times.
Double pressure from 1,985 (100-day SMA) and the 2,000 psychological level.
Uncertainty before FOMC is high; hawkish remarks could dump the price.
Geopolitical tensions raise oil prices; macro backdrop remains relatively cautious.

Key levels

Resistance: 1,945-1,950 → 1,985 → 2,000 → 2,035
Support: 1,900 → 1,860 → 1,800-1,820

For short-term traders:
Buy the dip in batches at 1,900-1,860, stop loss at 1,850 (if it breaks, exit). First target: 1,945-1,950—sell half first. Break out with volume above 1,950 to chase longs; stop loss 1,900; watch 2,000-2,035.

For swing players:
Wait for the daily close to hold above 1,985 before adding on the right side. Target: 2,200-2,500. Hold on—don’t get shaken out.

For long-term believers:
Start accumulating every day below 1,900. With locked staking + ETF inflows + supply contraction, the end-2026 target is looking at 3,000+. You’re betting on the institutional allocation wave + a rate-cut cycle. But remember—July 29th’s FOMC is the key turning point. Don’t go all-in on betting the direction before the data comes out.

BTC worth $65,600—are you waiting for the “final dip” or the “second leg of takeoff”?

First, the surface: a 15% rebound, ranging near the highs, and everyone on the internet is waiting for the direction.

From the June-July lows of 58,000–62,500, it bounced all the way back to around 66k. The weekly chart is up 1.5%–2.6%, and the monthly chart is up 2.7%–5%. But it’s still 48% off ATH 126,000, and it’s down 25% YTD. Once it reclaims the 25-day moving average (64,730) and the 200-week moving average (62,800), the short-term outlook turns bullish.

First thing: the “Clarity Act” is coming, but retail traders are still staring at the candlesticks.

The White House reached an agreement, removing the Democrats’ main obstacle, and Polymarket saw probabilities briefly surge back to 40%+. Before the August recess, it’s expected to move forward—this is the biggest regulatory positive catalyst in 2026.

Sounds like an epic regulatory win? But retail traders’ brain loop is always: if it doesn’t land, it’s bearish; if it lands, the good news is already priced in.

You’re waiting for “confirmation,” while institutions are waiting for “execution.”

Second thing: ETF net inflows for 6 straight days—$900 million. This is the strongest week since May.

BlackRock and Fidelity lead, total AUM is back to $80 billion, and holdings exceed 1.2 million BTC. The record $4 billion net outflows in June are being slowly absorbed back.

Even more exaggerated is the on-chain data: exchanges saw daily outflows of over $600 million worth of BTC. Mega whales have accumulated 66k BTC within the month, and long-term holders’ positions jumped 47%.

Third thing: the supply wall at 66,900—failed three times, but what about the fourth?

URPD data shows about 1.96% of supply is concentrated around 66,900—this is a potential profit-taking sell wall. Every time price touched it three times, it got smashed back.

The biggest wildcard is the July 28–29 FOMC. If the Fed holds steady plus signals dovishly, 66,900 will be punched straight through. If it turns hawkish, a pullback to 62,800–64,500 is basically free money.

Bull versus bear—you decide.

One side is:

ETF net inflows for 6 straight days at $900 million, with institutions accelerating back in
Mega whales hoarded 66,000 BTC in a month; exchange outflows of $600 million; supply being drained
The “Clarity Act” could potentially advance before August—a regulatory milestone
Reclaiming the 25-day moving average + the 200-week moving average; technical repair completed

The other side is:

YTD still down 25%, and still 48% away from ATH
The 66,900 supply wall has failed three times
If FOMC is hawkish: oil at 85+ and sticky inflation; liquidity tightening
Spot CVD is weak; derivatives lead the volatility

Key levels

Resistance overhead: 66,000–66,300 → 66,900 (supply wall) → 67,250 → 68k–72k

Support below: 65,000 → 64,700–64,800 (25-day moving average) → 62,800 (200-week moving average)

For the short term:

Go long with light size at 65,000–65,200, stop-loss below 64,700, target 66,000–66,500. If the daily closes above 66,500, add longs, target 68k–72k, stop-loss 65,500. If it breaks below 64,800 with strong volume, flip to bearish and wait.

For the mid term:

Build positions in batches from 62,800–64,500 (position size 30%–50%, stop-loss 59k). Before FOMC, reduce or hedge; after the meeting, adjust based on the statement. Dovish = add; hawkish = wait for a second dip.

BTC right now is like the ETF approval night before January 2024—

99% of people think “the rebound is over, it still has to drop,” and the result is institutions suck up the liquidity and then punch through the ceiling. #Gate事件合约首发狂欢 #夏日创作营 #特斯拉持有11509枚BTC近四年未动 $BTC $ETH $SOL

BitMEX is closing down, meaning an era has truly come to an end. Back then, before there was Binance and Bybit, most of the early contract traders were basically BitMEX graduates. 100x leverage, ADL, spike attacks, liquidation notification texts… they’re all collective memories from that period. Crypto has always been there, but the cast of characters has kept changing, one after another.
