This trade is not being explained in hindsight after the move; the structure had already shown signals before the breakout in the early hours. After several days of range-bound trading, the pullback amplitude was narrowing. Once the breakout was confirmed, follow by opening a long position.
The entry was at 50.48, on the first pullback after the breakout. Volume did not contract noticeably, indicating that support was still present. The price did not fall back into the range, making this a structure worth executing according to plan.
