Warsh’s remarks leaned neutral, which is of course the best-case scenario. As long as he’s not hawkish, it shouldn’t be a big problem. The price is back at 81,500, and our longs are raking in profits. The Asian session tomorrow will probably push it up a bit more. Our take-profit level is 83,000.

Bitcoin just brushed 81,800, and a bunch of people were yelling, “The bull run is back—get in now!” Then what? It turned around and slammed the door, trapping the bulls, with the price now at 80,600. The 4-hour long-short ratio plunged from 2.38 to 1.66 before bouncing back to 2.03. The wild swings and wicks are a clear sign of a brutal shakeout of highly leveraged positions. The market may be a little less crowded now, but the trapped buyers above 81,800 are still weighing heavily on it. Chasing the price here
