Crypto-linked stocks ended Friday, October 9, on a strong note. Circle (CRCL) gained 4.54% to close at $84.51, while Coinbase and Strategy also moved higher, pointing to broader strength across the sector.
My take: one strong session is encouraging, but it doesn’t settle the bigger question for Circle. The company’s long-term story depends on adoption of USDC and the growth of digital payments. At the same time, investors will be watching competition, regulation, interest rates, and how those factors affect Circle’s business.
Analyst price targets can add context, but

$STRK It's up 76% this week and pumped another 20% today, but guess what? Volume is about the same as usual—only 1.4 times higher.
That's the most suspicious part. If big money were really coming in, volume would have to multiply several times over. As it stands, it's just a few people inside pushing it up hard because there are no sell orders, pumping it for the trending searches. The current price is 0.08857, right at the seven-day high.

Intraday trade, sold out. Breaking above 112 is difficult, and shorts have entered on the 3-minute and 5-minute charts. BTC, ETH, and SOL are currently all in deep MACD territory, with insufficient upward momentum. It also happens to be the weekend, with poor liquidity, so I sold first and will buy back on the way down. It doesn’t matter if I got off too early; it will still go lower in a few days.

Bitcoin Falls to $81K as ETF Flows Reverse Into Net Outflows
Last week marked the first pullback since the breakout above the resistance wall. Bitcoin fell nearly 5% from the week's opening close, trading around $81,700 after four consecutive sessions of losses — starting from the $86,530 close on Oct 4, the first session to close above the $85,500 wall.
Meanwhile, the S&P 500 hit a new all-time high of 7,818.92 on Oct 6, and the Nasdaq 100 remained near its peak despite a ~1.4% drop on Oct 8. This rare divergence since the August breakout points to a problem in Bitcoin's own flow of funds.
