Is it a good idea to go all-in on BTC over the weekend? My answer is realistic: profits can wait, but risk is not something to gamble with!
The most nerve-racking thing in crypto isn't the market going up—it's waking up on Saturday to find that your account has already been through a roller coaster ride! So the most important thing about holding positions over the weekend isn't predicting whether prices will rise or fall, but thinking ahead about the worst-case scenario.
If I could choose just one asset to watch, I’d prioritize BTC. The reason is simple: it’s a market barometer, with relativel

Money is flowing in, but I’m choosing to play it safe first—my asset allocation strategy
Guys, seeing this $57.97 million in net inflows really got me thinking. It shows that although everyone is saying the bear market is here, their actions are telling the truth: they’re moving money to safer places.
In response to this wave of inflows, my strategy on Gate over the past few days has been simple: adjust my positions, cut the weak and keep the strong, focus on defense, and absolutely avoid blindly using leverage.
In the past, when I saw inflow data like this, my first thought was, “Is a big ral

Weak. $SNDKB is currently priced at 1,158.29, with both the one-hour and four-hour trends looking weak. The RSI has entered oversold territory, but oversold only indicates that selling pressure has occurred; it doesn't mean the price is cheap, much less that anyone is genuinely defending support. The price is still some distance from the 1116.67 support, while one-hour trading volume is less than one percent of its usual level. This low-volume decline looks more like the market dragging along in place. Demand for a rebound is increasing, but a reversal still lacks one piece of evidence: only w

Hold positions over the weekend or stay in cash? Smart traders don’t leave all their chips on the table for Saturday!
Holding positions over the weekend is like taking a trip: the scenery may be beautiful, or a sudden downpour may hit. The key isn’t whether you dare to go out, but whether you’ve brought an umbrella!
My weekend strategy leans toward trimming positions appropriately and keeping cash on hand. BTC can be a core asset to watch, while with ETH I focus on its relative strength. As for more volatile altcoins, if there’s no clear trading thesis, I’d rather sit them out for now.

Relatively strong. $BEAMX is currently at 0.004661, up +42.98% on the day, but its hourly trading volume is only about one-sixth of its usual level. Both the one-hour and four-hour trends are relatively strong, the four-hour RSI has entered overbought territory, and the price is hovering near its previous high. Can this divergence between the rally and participation really be treated as evidence of trend confirmation? Strength remains, but there may be fewer buyers chasing the price than expected. Whether buyers step in at these levels matters more than continuing to spin a story around the ga

Divergence. $AAVE is currently at 128.87, strong on the hourly timeframe but weak on the four-hour timeframe; the two timeframes have yet to align. More troubling, hourly trading volume is only a little over 30% of normal, so the short-term strength lacks participation to back it up. The price is hugging the hourly resistance at 129.53 but hasn't made a convincing breakout. Can this divergence be treated as a trend signal? My view: the direction is not yet confirmed. The easiest mistake right now is to infer the overall trend from hourly strength; only if the price moves above 129.53 and volum

Bitcoin falls 5.08% to $77,140: Fed policy uncertainty, liquidations, and weak market sentiment weigh on buyers
Bitcoin is facing another major wave of selling pressure, with its price falling to $77,140.0 after losing 5.08% over the past 24 hours. The latest trading data shows BTC reached an intraday high of $81,925.8 before dropping to a low of $76,453.5. Bitcoin Falls 5.08% to $77,140: Fed Uncertainty, Liquidations and Weak Market Sentiment Put Bulls Under Pressure
Bitcoin is experiencing another significant wave of selling pressure, with its price falling to $77,140.0 after losing 5.08% over the past 24 hours. The latest trading data shows that BTC reached an intraday high of $81,925.8 before dropping to a low of $76,453.5. This sharp reversal represents a major change in short-term market momentum and raises an important question: Is Bitcoin approaching a strong accumulation zone, or is the market preparing for another deeper correction?
The decline is particularly notable because Bitcoin initially showed strength following the latest Federal Reserve announcement. However, buyers failed to maintain the upward movement, and sellers gradually regained control. The price has now moved considerably below the $80,000 psychological level, making the next few trading sessions particularly important.
1. The Federal Reserve Remains the Main Macro Catalyst
The latest Federal Open Market Committee decision has played an important role in shaping investor sentiment. The Fed maintained its policy rate within the 3.75%–4.00% range, but the decision was accompanied by a cautious message about inflation and future monetary policy.
The 10-2 voting outcome attracted particular attention because two policymakers preferred a 25-basis-point increase instead of keeping rates unchanged. This highlighted continuing disagreement within the committee and suggested that inflation remains a serious concern.
Markets interpreted the overall message as more hawkish than expected. Expectations of a possible December rate increase strengthened, putting additional pressure on Treasury yields and the US dollar.
For Bitcoin, this environment creates challenges because investors often reduce exposure to volatile assets when borrowing costs and monetary uncertainty increase.
2. More Than $350 Million in Liquidations Increased Selling Pressure
The decline was not driven by macroeconomic concerns alone. Derivatives-market liquidations also contributed to the downward movement.
More than $350 million in cryptocurrency positions were reportedly liquidated during the broader 24-hour sell-off, with leveraged long positions representing the majority.
This is an important market mechanism. When Bitcoin falls rapidly, leveraged traders can reach liquidation thresholds, forcing exchanges to close their positions. Those automatic closures generate additional selling pressure and can accelerate an existing correction.
In my view, this combination of macroeconomic uncertainty and excessive leverage explains why Bitcoin's decline became more aggressive after losing its initial post-Fed support.
3. Current Bitcoin Market Performance
The latest price figures provide a clear picture of the situation:
- Current BTC price: $77,140.0
- 24-hour high: $81,925.8
- 24-hour low: $76,453.5
- 24-hour price change: -5.08%
Bitcoin has experienced a substantial intraday reversal, falling more than $4,700 from its latest 24-hour high.
The inability to hold above $80,000 suggests that short-term buyers are becoming more cautious. Meanwhile, the broader market is dealing with mixed technology earnings, inflation concerns, changing interest-rate expectations, and weaker risk appetite.
Spot Bitcoin ETF inflows have provided some support, but institutional demand has not been sufficient to overcome the immediate selling pressure.
4. Technical Analysis: Important Levels to Watch
The technical structure currently favors caution. Bitcoin has struggled to maintain its previous upward trajectory, and the recent price movement has created a weaker short-term structure.
My key observation zones are:
Support levels:
- $76,400–$76,500: Immediate support around the latest 24-hour low.
- $75,000–$76,000: Important demand region.
- $73,000–$74,000: Next potential support if sellers maintain control.
- $70,000–$72,000: Deeper correction area to monitor.
Resistance levels:
- $78,000–$79,000: First recovery zone.
- $80,000–$81,000: Important psychological and technical resistance.
- $81,900–$82,000: Recent intraday high and major recovery hurdle.
- $84,000–$85,000: Higher resistance if bullish momentum returns.
A sustained move below $76,400 could expose Bitcoin to another downward test. On the other hand, reclaiming $80,000 with stronger trading volume would improve the short-term outlook.
5. Seven-Day and Medium-Term Market Outlook
Bitcoin's recent seven-day structure indicates weakening bullish momentum. The market previously traded around $80,000–$84,000 but failed to sustain its progress.
The broader consolidation also reflects repeated rejection around the $85,000–$87,000 region.
For the medium term, market forecasts remain divided. Some year-end projections from research desks fall within the $80,000–$100,000 range, while more cautious scenarios allow for another 5%–10% correction before a sustainable recovery.
Longer-term bullish expectations depend on improving liquidity, stronger ETF demand, and a more supportive Federal Reserve policy outlook.
These projections should be treated as scenarios rather than guaranteed price targets.
6. My Trading Strategy: Confirmation Before Commitment
Personally, I would prioritize capital protection instead of rushing into the market after a sharp decline.
The $76,400–$77,500 region deserves attention because buyers may attempt to establish a short-term base there. However, simply reaching a support zone does not guarantee a reversal.
I would look for three important signals:
1. Selling pressure begins to weaken around support.
2. Buying volume increases and price establishes a stronger recovery structure.
3. Bitcoin reclaims nearby resistance and successfully holds above it.
If these conditions do not appear, remaining patient is a reasonable approach.
For futures traders, excessive leverage can become particularly dangerous during volatile market conditions. I prefer keeping risk around 1–2% per trade, using appropriate stop-loss levels, and avoiding emotional decisions.
Final Thoughts
Bitcoin's fall to $77,140, representing a 5.08% daily decline, demonstrates how quickly macroeconomic expectations can change cryptocurrency market sentiment.
The combination of a hawkish-leaning Fed decision, liquidation pressure, weaker technology-sector sentiment, and uncertainty surrounding future interest rates has placed significant pressure on BTC.
However, one sharp correction does not automatically mean that Bitcoin's long-term fundamentals have changed. Institutional participation, regulated investment products, and its limited supply remain important factors to watch.
For now, my attention is firmly on the $76,400–$77,500 support region and the ability of BTC to reclaim $80,000.
The next direction will depend on whether buyers can absorb the selling pressure or whether sellers continue pushing the market lower.
My view: In this market, patience, confirmation, and disciplined risk management matter more than predicting the exact bottom.
What do you think? Will Bitcoin defend $76,000 and recover toward $80,000, or could we see another move toward $74,000 first?

$57.97 million in net inflows, second globally—why is capital favoring Gate?

Guys, I saw a data point today: DefiLlama shows Gate had net inflows of about $57.97 million over the past 24 hours, putting it straight at No. 2 among centralized exchanges worldwide. With the broader market grinding lower and funds pulling out, Gate still seeing such strong net inflows is definitely something.

A lot of people might ask: now that the money is coming in, does that mean prices are about to pump? Guys, don't get ahead of yourselves. Money flowing into an exchange is only the first step; it doesn't m
