U.S. crypto regulation may keep moving even after the CLARITY Act stalled in the Senate.
Former CFTC Chair Christopher Giancarlo told Eleanor Terrett that the setback does not necessarily stop regulatory progress.
He pointed to SEC Chair Paul Atkins and CFTC Chair Michael Selig as key figures who could continue developing regulatory frameworks through their agencies.
The bigger question now is how much progress regulators can make while Congress works on legislation.
