The first round of China-US economic and trade consultations reached a framework, with representatives from both countries engaging in in-depth communication.

On June 10, local time, Li Chenggang, the international trade negotiation representative and deputy minister of the Ministry of Commerce, spoke in London about the first meeting of the China-U.S. economic and trade consultation mechanism, stating that both sides had professional, rational, in-depth, and candid communication. In principle, both sides reached a framework for implementing the consensus of the two heads of state from their June 5 phone call and the consensus from the Geneva talks.
