Aave founder Stani Kulechov pointed out that the new staking module Umbrella has already shown its impact, as the Aave protocol is transforming to earn additional income through user-staked aTokens. The Aave DAO can set coverage amounts for each staking pool, thereby dropping risks and prioritizing user safety. Aave V4 will enhance Risk Management features.

According to reports, Aave founder Stani Kulechov stated that the effects of the new Aave staking module Umbrella have already been reflected. The Aave protocol is transitioning from using AAVE as the last line of excessive debt support to leveraging additional income generated from aTokens provided by users through Umbrella staking. Furthermore, the Aave DAO can configure a predefined coverage amount for each staking pool, which then serves as the first line of defense for staker funds, achieving a balance by allowing both users and the Aave DAO to mitigate protocol risks without reducing any AAVE. Aave V4 will introduce more Risk Management features, and unlike other protocols that focus on taking risks and increasing tail risks, the community will still prioritize user safety.
