The Pakistani Minister of State for Encryption dialogues with Wall Street to discuss BTC Mining and Web3 collaboration.

On June 6, it was reported that Pakistan’s Minister of State for Cryptocurrency and Blockchain Affairs, Bilal Bin Saqib, seemed to be interested in cooperating with Wall Street. Saqib met with Brandon Lutnick, chairman and CEO of global financial services firm Cantor Fitzgerald, according to an X post published by the Pakistan Cryptocurrency Council on June 6. The video in another post shows him also meeting with New York City Mayor Eric Adams, who recently said he would secure the issuance of Bitcoin bonds in the city. The meeting with Lutnick comes on the heels of his company’s recent increased interest in cryptocurrency. The two reportedly discussed “tokenization, Bitcoin mining, the future of Web3 in Pakistan, and avenues for collaboration.”

On June 4, it was reported that Bilal Bin Saqib recently held an important meeting at the White House with Robert ‘Bo’ Hines, the executive director of the Presidential Advisory Council on Digital Assets, to discuss digital assets, Bitcoin integration, and collaboration on decentralized infrastructure.
