Don’t just look at the 117% figure and stop there when reviewing Gate’s latest proof-of-reserves data.
Gate’s overall reserve ratio is 117%, covering nearly 500 types of user assets. User BTC holdings increased from 19,054 BTC in the previous period to 21,557 BTC, with excess reserves of 24.2%. User ETH holdings also increased from 344,935 ETH to 374,348 ETH, with excess reserves of 22.02%.
The stablecoin figures are also quite interesting. Total user holdings amounted to 1.336 billion stablecoins, while the platform held 1.59 billion in reserves, bringing the reserve ratio to 118.97%.
