Gate Spot WebSocket Update: Simple Binary Encoding (SBE) Data Push Supported

The Simple Binary Encoding (SBE) data streaming feature for Spot WebSocket is now live on the Testnet environment. Developers are welcome to integrate and test this feature ahead of the Production rollout.

SBE is a high-performance binary serialization format that offers significantly lower decoding latency and reduced message size compared to traditional JSON encoding, effectively improving the processing efficiency of market data. It is particularly well-suited for latency-sensitive, high-frequency trading scenarios.

Important Notes

• The Simple Binary Encoding (SBE) streaming feature for Spot WebSocket is currently only available on the Testnet environment and is not yet accessible on Production.
• The launch date for this feature in live trading is To Be Determined (TBD) . An advance notice will be published prior to the launch.
