This upgrade focuses on key functionalities, including service discovery, automated payments, pay-per-use billing, high-frequency micropayments, multi-wallet coordination, and automated settlement, advancing AI from "understanding requests" to "autonomously executing tasks".
A major highlight of this upgrade is the enhancement of autonomous payment capabilities for AI Agents. Within the scope of user authorization, AI can now automatically complete payments, transaction signing, and result retrieval based on payment requirements during service execution. This significantly reduces the need for repeated user intervention, allowing complex tasks to be completed continuously within a unified workflow. For example, with user authorization, AI Agents can automatically call translation APIs, purchase data services, access GPU computing resources, or complete payment steps involved in workflows such as ticket booking and order placement.
To better support the dynamic invocation patterns of AI-native scenarios, Gate Pay for AI Agent supports Pay-per-use functionality, enabling service providers to charge based on actual API calls or resource consumption. This model is better aligned with the on-demand execution logic of AI Agents.
At the same time, the platform now introduces high-frequency micropayments. For service providers, this means their capabilities can be directly connected to AI Agent execution pipelines; for users, it enables AI to complete workflows autonomously with significantly less manual intervention.
