Gate Supports Akropolis (AKRO) Rebranding to Kaon (KAON)

Gate will support the rebranding of Akropolis (AKRO) to Kaon (KAON). As part of this process, Gate will suspend the deposit, withdrawal, and trading services for Akropolis (AKRO), including the AKRO_USDT and AKRO_TRY spot trading pairs, quantitative grid trading, Simple Earn, and margin trading, starting from February 11, 2025, at 06:00 UTC. After the rebranding, Akropolis (AKRO) will be relisted on Gate with the new name Kaon and the new token symbol KAON.

Gate will take the following steps for the token swap:

1. Gate will close the new margin borrowing and crypto loan services for Akropolis (AKRO) before February 8, 2025, at 08:00 UTC.
2. Users who have active positions in the Akropolis (AKRO) futures trading market are encouraged to adjust your strategies in advance. Starting from February 9, 2025, at 08:00 UTC, the AKRO/USDT futures trading market will switch to a "Reduce-only" mode.
3. On February 10, 2025, at 08:00 UTC, Gate will automatically settle open futures trading positions at the average index price in the half-hour before the futures trading stops. Any outstanding orders will be canceled automatically. Users with open positions in this market should adjust your strategies and close positions before February 10, 2025, at 08:00 UTC to avoid automatic settlement.
4. Starting from February 10, 2025, at 08:00 UTC, Gate will suspend quantitative grid trading for Akropolis (AKRO). If you have any ongoing quantitative grid trading strategies, please adjust them in advance. Otherwise, the trades will be terminated automatically before 08:00 UTC on February 10, 2025.
5. Starting from February 11, 2025, at 06:00 UTC, Gate will suspend the deposit, withdrawal, and trading services for Akropolis (AKRO), including AKRO_USDT and AKRO_TRY spot trading pairs, Simple Earn, and margin trading.
6. Users with Akropolis (AKRO) assets in Simple Earn may manually redeem them in advance. Otherwise, the assets will be automatically redeemed before February 11, 2025, at 06:00 UTC.
7. Users with outstanding Akropolis (AKRO) loans in the margin trading market should repay the loans in advance. Otherwise, the loan will be settled automatically before February 11, 2025, at 06:00 UTC.

This change only encompasses the alteration of the token ticker and does not involve the replacement or migration of the blockchain. Gate users do not need to take any additional actions, and the security of your assets will not be affected. After the name change is completed, the token will be re-listed with a new ticker.
