Gate Supports the Renaming of The Open Network (TONCOIN) to The Open Network (TON)

Gate supports the renaming of The Open Network (TONCOIN) to The Open Network (TON), which will be implemented on March 8, 2023, 08:00 am UTC. By then, Gate will take the deposit, withdrawal and trading services of The Open Network (TONCOIN) offline, including liquidity mining, quantitative trading, Lend & Earn, and margin trading. After the renaming is successfully completed, The Open Network will be relisted on Gate with the new symbol TON.

Details:

1. Gate has closed the new margin borrowing and crypto loan services of $TONCOIN.
2. Gate will close the deposit, withdrawal and trading of $TONCOIN, including liquidity mining, quantitative trading, Lend & Earn, and margin trading, on March 8, 2023, 08:00 am UTC.
3. Users who have in-progress $TONCOIN quantitative trading should adjust their trading plans beforehand. Otherwise, the plans will be terminated automatically by March 8, 2023, 08:00 am UTC.
4. Users who have assets in Lend & Earn may manually redeem them in advance. Otherwise the assets will be liquidated by March 8, 2023, 08:00 am UTC.
5. Users who have outstanding $TONCOIN loans in the margin trading market should repay the loans in advance. Otherwise, the loan will be settled automatically by March 8, 2023, 08:00 am UTC.
6. Users who have provided liquidity for $TONCOIN in the liquidity mining market should withdraw the liquidity in advance. Otherwise the liquidity will be automatically redeemed by March 8, 2023, 08:00 am UTC.

The renaming does not involve any blockchain migration process. Gate users don’t need to do anything in particular.
