Gate Announcement: The SUN Perps Delisting Due to Impact of SUN Re-denomination on Index Price

Due to different progresses on SUN re-denomination in exchanges around the world, the old SUN are still currently trading in spot markets in some major exchanges. Gate has completed the re-denomination in the spot market, but the perpetual contracts still use the pricing before the re-denomination. To avoid possibly drastic index price fluctuation as more exchanges complete the re-denomination, Gate will delist the current SUN perpetual contracts. Gate has now stopped allowing new positions on SUN perpetual contracts, after 12th of Jun, 2021, 4:00 AM UTC, we will close all open SUN positions at the market price. If you have any SUN perpetual contracts position, please close your positions before 12th of Jun, 2021, 4:00 AM UTC.



After all major exchanges complete the SUN re-denomination, we may re-uate the SUN relisting on perpetual contract markets based on market conditions.

Please note, the SUN prices might fluctuate drastically during the process of re-denomination, please be aware of the risks.
