In August 2026, Coinfest Asia 2026 will take place in Bali. As the Summer Bay Sponsor of this year's conference, Gate will present "GATE ZONE: iWEB3 – THE LEADERSHIP SHIFT" on the second day of the event, August 21, at the Summer Bay area inside the Coinfest Conference. The event will run from 08:00 to 13:00 (UTC). Centered on the leadership shift in the Web3 industry, the event will focus on AI, Pre-IPO, multi-asset investing, the evolution of global trading platforms, and broader industry trends. Set against the relaxed and open atmosphere of Bali, Gate is committed to providing industry guests, community members, KOLs, and on-site attendees from different regions with a natural, open, and valuable networking space.
Unlike traditional closed-door events, this GATE ZONE will be located in an open area inside Coinfest Asia, allowing attendees to enter, stay, and connect more freely throughout the conference. As part of the program, the event will feature a KOL Opinion Battle, where selected KOLs will share their real-time views on market outlooks, industry trends, and the future direction of Web3. GATE ZONE turns the space into an open forum for ideas, perspectives, and conversations that extend beyond the stage and into the wider Web3 community.
Around sunset, the event will move into a Fireside session under the topic "From Exchange to Ecosystem: How Gate Is Redefining What a Global Multi-Asset Trading Platform Can Be". Gate Executive Director Edwin Cheung will share strategic insights on Gate's evolution from a crypto trading platform into a global, multi-asset, ecosystem-driven platform, while also discussing the role of AI in Gate's roadmap, the boundaries of multi-asset expansion, changes in the global market environment, and the long-term direction of industry building.
Following the session, Lucas Sum, Gate Head of Market Development, Equities, will speak on "Gate Equities and the Next Generation of Global Investing", focusing on changing investor needs, multi-asset allocation scenarios, and the evolution of future investment experiences as the boundaries between traditional financial assets and digital assets continue to converge.
In the second half of the event, a Rapid Fire Interview session will invite KOLs and volunteer attendees to take the stage together, responding to a series of market- and industry-related questions in a light, fast, and direct format. As the evening networking period begins, the event will transition into open networking and a party session, where attendees from different regions can continue conversations in Bali’s relaxed setting around industry development, market opportunities, community building, and cross-regional collaboration.
