According to the official announcement, Gate has released its latest Proof of Reserves report. As of July 27, 2026, the platform's overall reserve ratio stood at 117%, remaining well above the industry security benchmark of 100%. The reserves cover nearly 500 different user assets, demonstrating sufficient reserve redundancy and robust risk management capabilities amid market volatility.
Reserve holdings for core assets continued to grow. BTC user holdings increased from 19,054 BTC in the previous report to 21,557 BTC, while Gate held 26,775 BTC in reserve, representing an excess reserve ratio of 24.2%. ETH user holdings increased from 344,935 to 374,348 compared to the previous period, while the platform's reserve holdings grew from 423,960 to 456,798, with an excess reserve ratio of 22.02%.
Major assets such as GT and XRP maintained reserve ratios well above the 100% benchmark, reaching 131.13% and 116.5%, respectively. By continuously strengthening its core asset reserves and maintaining substantial overcollateralization, Gate demonstrates a long-term, prudent, and sustainable approach to asset management, further reinforcing market confidence in the platform's fund security and risk management capabilities.
For stablecoins, total user assets across USDT, USDC, USD1, and GUSD reached 1.336 billion tokens, backed by combined platform reserves of 1.59 billion tokens, representing an aggregate reserve ratio of 118.97% and an excess reserve ratio of 18.97%.
Among them, the total GUSD subscriptions have surpassed 224 million GUSD. Users holding GUSD can earn an annualized yield of 3.8%, with flexible deposits and withdrawals, 1:1 redemption in the original subscription currency without loss, and no redemption fees. GUSD holders can also participate in Gate Launchpool staking to earn additional rewards, further expanding the use cases for stable-yield assets.
As one of the first platforms in the industry to promote reserve transparency, Gate continues to improve its publicly verifiable Proof of Reserves mechanism. Through technical solutions including zero-knowledge proofs (ZKP), Merkle Tree verification, hot and cold wallet management, and user asset snapshots, Gate enables transparent disclosure and independent verification of reserve data.
