Gate will rename Basis Cash (BAC) to Basis Cash (BASISCASH), Wen (WEN) to Wen (WENSOL) and Simons Cat (CAT) to Simons Cat (SIMONSCAT). As part of this process, Gate will suspend the deposit, withdrawal and trading services for BAC, WEN, CAT, including the BAC_USDT, WEN_USDT, CAT_USDT spot trading pair and quantitative grid trading on July 5, 2026, at 03:00 UTC.
Gate will proceed with the following steps:
- If you have trading positions in the futures market, please adjust your strategy in advance. The CAT/USDT futures trading market will switch to reduce-only mode on July 4, 2026, at 07:30 (UTC).
- On July 4, 2026, at 08:00 (UTC), Gate will automatically settle futures positions at the average index price of the half hour before futures trading is halted. Any pending orders will be automatically canceled. If you have positions in the above futures market, please adjust your strategy in advance and close your positions before 08:00 (UTC) on July 4, 2026. Otherwise, they will be automatically settled.
- If you have a quantitative trading strategy running, please adjust it in advance. Otherwise, it will be forcibly stopped before 08:00 (UTC) on July 4, 2026.
- Gate will close new margin lending and collateralized lending for WEN, CAT before July 4, 2026, 08:00 (UTC).
- On July 5, 2026, at 03:00 (UTC), Gate will suspend deposit, withdrawal, and trading services for BAC, WEN, CAT, including the BAC_USDT, WEN_USDT, CAT_USDT spot trading pair, Simple Earn, and margin trading.
- If you still have assets in Simple Earn, you can manually redeem them in advance; otherwise, they will be automatically redeemed before July 5, 2026, at 03:00 (UTC).
- If you have outstanding WEN, CAT loans in the margin trading market, please repay them early. Otherwise, automatic settlement and repayment will be carried out before July 5, 2026, at 03:00 (UTC).
This change is limited to the token ticker only and does not involve any blockchain swap or migration. Users on the Gate platform do not need to take any additional action. Your asset security remains unaffected. After the renaming is complete, the token will be re-evaluated under the new ticker. Please wait patiently and follow subsequent announcements.
