According to the official announcement from Story Network (IP) project, Story Network (IP) will be renamed to DATA Network (DATA). Gate will support this rename and will suspend deposit, withdrawal, and trading services for Story Network (IP) on June 30, 2026, at 03:00 (UTC), including the IP_USDT spot trading pair, ETF Leverage, Futures, Quantitative Grid Trading, and other related services.
Gate will proceed with the following steps:
- On June 29, 2026, 06:30 (UTC), Gate will suspend leveraged trading for IP3S_USDT, IP3L_USDT, and cancel all pending orders. The tokens will be renamed to DATA3S_USDT, DATA3L_USDT. Users do not need to take any action; the ETF leveraged tokens will be renamed automatically.
- If you have trading positions in the futures market, please adjust your strategy in advance. The IP/USDT futures trading market will switch to reduce-only mode on June 29, 2026, at 07:30 (UTC).
- On June 29, 2026, at 08:00 (UTC), Gate will automatically settle futures positions at the average index price of the half hour before futures trading is halted. Any pending orders will be automatically canceled. If you have positions in the above futures market, please adjust your strategy in advance and close your positions before 08:00 (UTC) on June 29, 2026. Otherwise, they will be automatically settled.
- Gate will close new margin lending and collateralized lending for Story Network (IP) before June 29, 2026, 08:00 (UTC).
- If you have a quantitative trading strategy running, please adjust it in advance. Otherwise, it will be forcibly stopped before 08:00 (UTC) on June 29, 2026.
- On June 30, 2026, at 03:00 (UTC), Gate will suspend deposit, withdrawal, and trading services for IP, including the IP_USDT spot trading pair, Simple Earn, and margin trading.
- If you still have assets in Simple Earn, you can manually redeem them in advance; otherwise, they will be automatically redeemed before June 30, 2026, at 03:00 (UTC).
- If you have outstanding IP loans in the margin trading market, please repay them early. Otherwise, automatic settlement and repayment will be carried out before June 30, 2026, at 03:00 (UTC).
This change is limited to the token ticker only and does not involve any blockchain swap or migration. Users on the Gate platform do not need to take any additional action. Your asset security remains unaffected. After the renaming is complete, the token will be re-evaluated and listed under the new ticker. Please wait patiently and follow subsequent announcements.
