Bitcoin took a hit but managed to hold on the Daily TF. After dipping lower yesterday, buyers stepped in around the NY open and pushed price into a small recovery.
Now the weekend is here, so expect slower price action unless major news shakes up the market.
The key is whether BTC can defend its current support and build enough momentum for another move higher. Losing support could invite more selling, while a strong recovery would give bulls some hope.

Looking at the 2-hour chart, this is the first decent rebound since the drop from 87385. MACD has just formed a golden cross and the red bars are expanding, but EMA30 is capping the price at 82788, while the major moving averages remain bearishly aligned. Assessment: an oversold rebound, not a reversal.
The 15-minute chart is even clearer: after climbing more than 2,300 points from 80344, price is now at the BOLL upper band at 82776. The risk-reward ratio for chasing higher is very poor.
