Trump continues to call for the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates, but the Fed instead raised them.
On September 16, the Fed raised interest rates by 25 basis points to 3.75%–4%, and most officials expected further rate hikes before the end of the year. Trump subsequently publicly called for rates to be lowered to 1% or even less.
The impact on the crypto market is actually quite direct:
Trump wants easing → risk assets should theoretically benefit;
The Fed is actually continuing to tighten → highly volatile assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum are under short-term pressure.
So the real mar

President Trump said he told Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh to “vote with the board” on today’s rate hike because “it won’t make any difference” 🇺🇸
When asked whether he still had confidence in Warsh, Trump said yes, then lashed out at other members of the Federal Reserve.
“He has a very difficult board. This board was put there by a lot of people. And interest rates are too high. It’s inappropriate.”
“The board is very hostile. They’re very political. They’re doing the wrong thing.”
“We should be paying the lowest interest rates in the world because we have the strongest credit.”

$BTC 76000 Urgent! $450 million ETF outflows, $570 million in leverage liquidated
The Fed raises rates, and crypto gets hit first.
Historically, average net selling around FOMC meetings was 8%. But Bitcoin buying confidence fell from 10% to 3%, while Ethereum dropped from 23% to 9%.
Spot Bitcoin ETFs saw $450 million in net outflows on Tuesday, the biggest since June 25; more than $570 million in leveraged futures were liquidated.
More troubling is the breakdown in correlations. Bitcoin’s 30-day correlation with the U.S. Dollar Index flipped from -0.54 to +0.08, showing almost no transmission;

Clawed its way back onto trending searches, but the price still clings to the lower end of the range: TRUMP rebound stalled at 1.955
Well, $TRUMP clawed its way back onto CoinGecko's trending searches, but the price is still sitting near the 30-day range low of 0.248. At this level, I would only reduce my position, not chase longs.
Meme sector sentiment moves fastest—the move from 1.814 to 1.945 overnight came with genuine volume expansion, with the latest three 15-minute volumes at 134,154/154,080/158,216, while the average volume in the previous hour was only 66,450; however, the 24h volume

ETH’s one-hour price has touched the upper Bollinger Band channel while reaching a recent horizontal resistance zone. In terms of indicators, the KDJ J value has surged above 91, entering clear overbought territory, and the need for a short-term pullback continues to intensify. Regarding trading volume, the volume during this rebound has contracted significantly compared with the increased volume during the previous decline, making this a low-volume rebound with insufficient bullish momentum. As the price surges toward the upper Bollinger Band, selling pressure can easily be unleashed. The pro

Damn, I said to watch 4233 a couple of days ago. Sigh. Sure enough, volatility was huge last night. They hiked rates by 25 basis points, and I waited until 1:30 a.m. last night but really couldn’t stay awake, so I went to sleep.

Warsh hikes rates, forced to go head-to-head with Trump!
The first rate hike in three years, approved unanimously by all 12 voters.
The federal funds rate rose from 3.50%–3.75% to 3.75%–4.00%. The first move since July 2023.
Warsh’s statement was short and forceful, just over a hundred words.
The economy was described in very firm terms: growth is steady, domestic demand is resilient, productivity is strong, capital spending is robust, employment is holding up, and the unemployment rate has barely moved. Then came the line that killed all fantasies: inflation remains elevated.
Today’s move is

$BTC $ETH 9.16 Morning (Bitcoin, Ether) Market Outlook
Yesterday afternoon, we anticipated the market move in advance. When Bitcoin pulled back to 75400, we directly issued a long signal. As the market rebounded to around 76200, we promptly reminded everyone to lock in profits, securing 800 points of short-term gains. On the eve of the Federal Reserve decision, we locked in the main short-selling strategy in advance. After the rate hike was implemented, Bitcoin surged to lure longs, creating exactly the short-selling window we had been waiting for. We opened short positions at 76400, targeting

🚨 YEN + FED + BOJ: BIG MACRO WEEK 👀
The U.S.–Japan rate gap is back in focus as the dollar trades around the 156 yen area.
🇺🇸 U.S. rates: 3.75%–4%
🇯🇵 Japan: 1%
📊 Potential gap: up to 300 bps
Now all eyes turn to the BOJ decision Friday.
Why does crypto care? 👇
A sharp yen move can affect the yen carry trade, and a major unwind has previously coincided with heavy selling across risk assets.
BTC traders should definitely keep this macro event on the radar. 👀

Start with where we actually are, because context decides everything. Bitcoin has slid back from near eighty thousand dollars and is trading in the mid-to-high seventy-thousands, roughly forty percent below its October 2025 high of one hundred twenty-six thousand, and still lower than it was a year ago even after a strong August. Ethereum is holding around two thousand five hundred after briefly dropping below it earlier in the week, Solana sits near ninety-seven, and XRP has slipped toward one dollar thirty-seven.
