BTC failed to reclaim 83000 on the daily chart, shifting from an oscillating uptrend structure to a bearish alignment. It could break below 80000 at any time and test 78000. Current overhead resistance is in the 83000-83500 range, with strong resistance still above 84000. If it cannot move above around 83000, a pullback remains likely.
ETH is following BTC, with the direction predominantly bearish. It needs to reclaim 2440 on the daily chart; otherwise, it could break below 2300 and head to 2250, or even 2150. Current resistance is near 2440, with strong resistance in the 2480-2500 range.

10/23 | Gold is around 4014 on the hourly chart. It bounced after breaking below 4000, but both highs and lows are still moving lower.
Until it reclaims 4017–4035, treat this as a recovery. If it breaks above and holds, watch 4061–4063, then 4093. Below, keep an eye on 4000 and 3987. If those levels fail and cannot be reclaimed, watch for further weakness.

The previous short got stopped out by that wick at 84808. This time, I'm shorting again from a different level.
Why 83000? Just look back at the candlesticks from the past few days.
On the 19th, it surged to 83035 and got knocked back. On the 21st, it surged to 83249 and got knocked back again. Before the wick on the 22nd, it also traded sideways around here for over a day, then shot straight up to 84808 before immediately plunging back to 81300 after taking out stops.

The fall into the 19 Oct low formed an ending diagonal, a wedge shape that often marks the end of a move. Price then broke above the Creek, the downtrend line that capped the fall. Since the break, price has come back to test that line from above.
