Interestingly, Bitcoin’s reaction—most people expected it to fall, but BTC instead surged. This kind of “rebound after the bearish news is realized” usually indicates that selling pressure was released in advance and the rate hike itself had been fully priced in.
But don’t rush to treat this as a turning point: the decision is only the beginning. Next, we need to watch actual interest rate levels and liquidity data.
