Getting out of a losing position | Don’t rush to cut; check the levels first
After getting trapped in a position, the worst thing isn’t the loss,
but losing your composure and starting to make rash moves.
In a market like this, don’t cut just because the price drops, and don’t blindly add to your position just to break even.
First, get a clear picture of your cost basis, position size, and risk.
When the price reaches key support, then consider what to do;
when a rebound reaches resistance, then consider reducing your position.

BTC tested 79000 and I went short. It failed three times to break through on the hourly chart, with the upper Bollinger Band firmly capping price and volume fading with each push. A bearish divergence pattern was confirmed, and 79000 itself was a major resistance level where a previous area of heavy accumulation had flipped from support to resistance, making the short setup highly convincing. I rode the trend through the main down leg and banked 40,000 in profit on one trade.

Respect key price levels: resistance is resistance.

Looking back at the strategy I shared with everyone yesterday, after a rally, quite a few of you were left holding BTC near 80,000. 🔥A full sweep—the shorts crushed the entire field!
We identified the resistance level ahead of time in the early hours: Bitcoin shorted from 80,800, and the spike to 80,900 was the bulls’ last hurrah!

When others are panicking, do you dare enter the market? It sounds simple, but doing it is a completely different matter.
My takeaway is that this only works if this position makes up a small enough share of your overall portfolio that a loss won’t affect your mindset. And in extreme, brutal market conditions like those, even if you know jumping in could mean catching a falling knife, you still have to force yourself to act; otherwise, emotionally, you just can’t get over that hurdle—seriously, it’s terrifying to watch.
