A high win rate does not equal high profitability. What truly determines trading results is the ratio between each gain and loss.

Many trading strategies look excellent: an 80% win rate, multiple consecutive wins, and a very attractive backtest curve.

But if each win earns just $10 while a single loss costs $50, a problem emerges.

Suppose you make 100 trades:
• 80 wins, earning $10 each, for a total gain of $800.
• 20 losses, losing $50 each, for a total loss of $1,000.

Final result: a loss of $200, before fees, funding rates, and slippage.

This shows that win rate is only one part of a t

🛢️ Oil closed the week below $100, and that’s being felt in the Venezuelan market.
Brent ended at $98,32 (+0,03%) and WTI at $90,83 (+0,34%). Both benchmarks fell below the psychological $100 threshold in recent days, after a bearish week driven by diplomacy between Washington and Tehran.
What’s driving the price? A conversation between the emir of Qatar and the U.S. president about de-escalating tensions in the Middle East, and the U.S. election results, in which Democrats won the Senate and House of Representatives: a scenario that several analysts see as more conducive to an understanding

#AI科技股大跌加密市场承压 #WCTCS9 The AI sector correction is weighing on the crypto market mainly through a decline in risk appetite. BTC and U.S. tech stocks now share the same pool of capital and leverage, so when the AI sector falls, institutions reduce their positions in both at the same time.

How the AI correction spills over into the crypto market
Same pool of capital: Hedge funds and multi-strategy funds invest in both AI stocks and crypto assets, and when risk controls are triggered, they sell both at once.

How much capital should be allocated to a single trade? Why do some traders get the direction right, yet their accounts keep losing money?

Many people study entry signals, technical indicators, and market forecasts, but overlook a more fundamental question: How much risk should each trade take on?

Even when the trade direction is correctly anticipated, the outcome may still be unfavorable if the position is too large, the stop-loss distance is unreasonable, or trading costs are underestimated.

Today, we compare three common position-sizing methods.

I. Fixed position sizing: Allocate the sa

AI Stocks Are Losing Billions, and Crypto Is Feeling the Shockwave: Is This the Beginning of a Broader Risk-Off Market?

The biggest threat to cryptocurrency markets right now may not be coming from inside crypto. It may be coming from Wall Street's technology sector.

On November 5, 2026, US financial markets experienced a sharp technology-led sell-off. The Nasdaq Composite plunged 5.5%, the S&P 500 declined 4.4%, and the semiconductor sector suffered particularly heavy losses. Bitcoin also dropped approximately 5%, falling back toward $76,000.

Why might a trading strategy that performed well on historical data gradually stop working in real markets?

A beautiful backtest curve does not mean a strategy has a stable edge in live trading.

The problem is often not that backtesting has no value, but that we may overestimate what historical data can prove.

There are four key reasons worth paying attention to.

1. Overfitting: The strategy has memorized history without truly understanding the market.

Repeatedly adjusting parameters until the historical return curve looks beautiful can easily lead the strategy to fit past noise rather th

Well, now 401(k) funds can’t flow into crypto either. If Trump’s policy had passed, it would’ve been hugely bullish. U.S. stocks keep rallying because these funds are regularly invested in the market. Now it’s over—Trump is leaving office, and that money is gone: the biggest source of capital for the U.S. crypto market!

When a trading strategy starts to fail, should you adjust its parameters or stop trading?

The real danger is not that a strategy incurs losses, but that you don't know why it's losing and keep changing its parameters in an attempt to fix the performance curve.

A strategy may once have worked, but the market won't operate the same way forever.

A trend may turn into a range, liquidity may decline, trading costs may rise, and entry signals that once worked may gradually lose their edge.

So how should you tell?

Step one: First determine whether it's a normal drawdown or a change in the strate

An Iranian woman, one tweet in the middle of the night, wiped out $20 trillion in U.S. stocks.

Her name is Yasamin Ansari.

This woman’s résumé reads like a script tailor-made for “this day”:

Stanford undergrad + Cambridge master’s, sharp mind, earned her way in.

Six years at the UN polishing her credentials, building international perspective and connections.

Back in her home state of Arizona to gain experience, she became a Phoenix city council member in 2021, rose to vice mayor within a few years, and set a string of “youngest” and “first Iranian-American” records.

In 2024, she stormed

There’s basically no technical support now. Until we get back above 771 and see a 4-hour candle close there, we can’t even confirm that the decline has stopped.

Saturday and Sunday’s price action doesn’t count. Any recovery during this period could be dragged down again by the news on Monday. The Democrats have been building up years of “resentment,” and I’m afraid they won’t be able to vent it all in a short time.

Halting further development of data centers and AI has a definite “turning back the clock” feel to it. We’ve seen this before. Back when China was still at the center of the globa

📉 Guys, one thing I'm sure of: $ONE /USDT may continue falling sooner or later. However, before it falls, it may still print another bullish candle, triggering shorts' stop-loss orders and sweeping them out. On the other hand, it could also start falling directly from the current price. So I'm not going to wait. I'm opening a small short position now. If the price rises first, I'll add in batches at better prices. If it starts falling from here, I'll add to the position and lock in profits all the way down. My target is to sell below $0.00140. Let's see if this plan works. Ready to make this

U.S. stocks sold off sharply on Thursday, November 5 (UTC). The Nasdaq closed down around 5.5%, entering correction territory, while the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index plunged roughly 12%, with chip stocks including $NVDA and $AMD posting steep losses. Beyond profit-taking, investors are growing concerned about the pace of AI data center construction, capital spending, and future returns on investment. The key question now is whether the AI sector’s lofty growth expectations need to be repriced. Where do you think the next opportunities will emerge: chip stocks, tech giants, or other sectors?
