#每周来晒 In crypto, why do people say, “It’s better to chase the highs than to casually buy the dip”

For educational purposes based on experience only; this does not constitute investment advice!

There is a stop-loss when you chase the highs incorrectly; when you buy the dip incorrectly, there is no bottom. Many retail investors suffer huge losses precisely because of “buying the dip.”

I. Several fatal problems with buying the dip

1. The bottom is formed, not guessed
What you think is the bottom is often merely a midpoint in the decline. There is no floor price in crypto; beneath the floo

🔥Oil prices have blasted past $100! All three major benchmarks have broken above $100, with Dubai crude surging directly to $120.
Investment banks are collectively raising their forecasts:
✅Goldman Sachs → 2027 Brent crude $80
✅HSBC → 2027 Brent crude $85
Consensus: Middle East geopolitical tensions are unlikely to ease in the short term, and supply chains remain under continued strain.
⚠️Inflation risks are resurfacing, putting pressure on global risk assets.
Geopolitical market volatility is intense. Don’t blindly chase long positions; risk management comes first.#原油 #Global oil prices #mac

Privacy coin discussions are heating up again, but XMR’s chart hasn’t joined the hype: the long entry window is stuck at 552
Strange—CZ was even brought in to endorse privacy coins, but after two or three hours $XMR has barely moved—I’m bullish: buy the dip at 520.83 (MA7), and cut losses if it falls below 491.23 (middle band).
The expectation gap is right here—the narrative heats up first, but the money hasn’t fully arrived. At ±30 minutes, ZEC was quoted at 1119.87, up just 0.41%, while DASH was quoted at 54.92 and drifting lower; XMR itself was treading water at 531.61.

I just hit refresh, and it jolted up as if I had scared it.
During the intraday plunge, $TAG ’s rebound kept failing to break the previous high, with clear overhead resistance and no follow-through in volume—a classic bull trap. While everyone else was running, I placed a short order.
Entered at 0.0010303, exited at 0.0006746, +679.77%. The wait was worth it. Those on board should have woken up laughing.
The market is won by waiting, and profits are made by holding.
Pocket the bulk first: close 80%, protect the remaining 20% at the entry price, and let the profits run if the sell-off continues

Nobody is talking about $AKE /USDT yet, but the 1h price is about to explode.

$AKE /USDT - LONG

Trade Plan:
Entry: 0.01638 – 0.01666
SL: 0.01515
TP1: 0.01755
TP2: 0.01823
TP3: 0.01926

Why this setup?
Why now? The daily trend is bullish, the 15m RSI is at 62.8 showing room to run, and the 1h ATR of 0.00057 confirms strong momentum. The entry zone sits between 0.01638 and 0.01666, with TP1 at 0.01755 and TP2 at 0.01823 offering clear targets. The invalidation level of 0.01411 acts as the line in the sand that protects this setup.

Why is everyone suddenly watching UNI at 6.335?

$UNI /USDT - LONG

Trade Plan:
Entry: 6.310 – 6.360
SL: 6.093
TP1: 6.516
TP2: 6.637
TP3: 6.818

Why this setup?
Why now? The daily trend is bullish, and the 1h price is sitting at 6.337, which means momentum is already pressing against the entry zone of 6.335. The 15m RSI at 49.97 shows we are not yet overbought, leaving room for a clean push toward the first target of 6.516 and a deeper move to 6.637 if buyers stay aggressive. The 1h ATR of 0.100628 tells us the current volatility is tight enough that a breakout above 6.360 can quickly exten

$MU /USDT just printed a daily range while the 1h RSI screamed oversold.

$MU /USDT - LONG

Trade Plan:
Entry: 966.71 – 968.23
SL: 957.94
TP1: 974.62
TP2: 979.38
TP3: 986.53

Why this setup?
Why now? The daily trend is range-bound, which means a breakout is overdue and the 1h RSI at 28.96 shows the asset is deeply oversold on the shorter timeframe. The 1h ATR of 3.054315 confirms that even a modest move from the entry zone of 967.47 will produce a significant candle, giving us a clean setup for a long. We are targeting TP1 at 974.62 and TP2 at 979.38, with the invalidation level at 986.83 s

Everyone watching the bullish reversal is about to get blindsided by SKYAI.

$SKYAI /USDT - SHORT

Trade Plan:
Entry: 0.0501 – 0.0505
SL: 0.0519
TP1: 0.0491
TP2: 0.0483
TP3: 0.0470

Why this setup?
Why now? The 1h price is sitting at the entry reference of 0.0503 inside a defined short zone, and the daily trend has been bearish for a reason that is about to pay off. The 15m RSI is at 31.47, meaning SKYAI is already near oversold territory but the short setup has not yet completed. The 1h ATR of 0.000678 shows enough volatility to push the price from the entry reference down to TP1 at 0.0491

I was just about to go to the forum and start cursing, but then I saw my balance. Forget it—the market is always right.
When the whole screen was glowing green, $SOL clearly lacked enough buying support at the highs. The rebound was nothing but a bull trap—I nearly slapped the words “resistance above” right in everyone’s face. Friends who followed me into the short at 103.42 should all be waking up laughing from this move.

$XRP is stuck at $1.36, and traders are waiting for its next move.
The CLARITY Act remains a major catalyst, and White House Executive Director Patrick Witt says today is a "bad day to be a CLARITY Act doomer."
At the same time, 2 new XRP ETF products have been pushed to October 11.
For now, XRP ETF flows have gone quiet, with zero net inflows on September 11.
On the chart, the story is simple: $1.40 is the wall. $1.30 is the floor.
Break $1.40, and XRP could run toward $1.50–$1.60.
Lose $1.30, and $1.20 comes back into view.

For this $BNB long, I entered around 701.00. The idea was simple: after breaking above the previous high, the pullback held, so I followed the structure for a move. During the holding period, there were false breakouts and stop hunts, but the key level held throughout.

I’m currently up +255.25%. I’ve taken 70% off the table and remain long. I’ll see whether the remaining position can reclaim and hold above the key level. If it holds, I’ll continue holding; if not, I’ll exit.

My biggest takeaway after entering is not to let short-term wicks push you around. If the structure hasn’t changed,

$LSK This time, I’m taking a bullish-on-the-retest approach. I didn’t chase after the breakout; I waited until it pulled back near the key level before entering long. After entry, the price action wasn’t particularly fast, but it never broke the key level, and support remained in the tug-of-war between buyers and sellers.

After reaching +488.9%, I first closed 70% of the position. Taking some profit off the table makes me feel more secure, while I’ll continue watching how the key level performs with the remaining position. No conclusion can be drawn about 0.265 for now; we need to see whethe

Don’t be alarmed by 3.4%; core inflation is what really matters
This CPI report looks somewhat “hawkish,” but when broken down, it is not as scary as it seems. Overall CPI rose 0.4% month-on-month and 3.4% year-on-year in August, in line with market expectations; core CPI rose 2.4% year-on-year and 0.3% month-on-month. Energy prices rebounded notably, with gasoline prices rising 3.9%, becoming an important driver of overall inflation.
This means some of the inflationary pressure is energy-related, rather than a broad acceleration across all goods and services. The problem is that core services
