The Fed’s Final Signals Could Move Bitcoin, the Dollar and U.S. Stocks
Today’s focus is on the Federal Reserve’s message from Bangkok, with markets searching for clues ahead of the October 27–28 FOMC meeting. The timing matters because investors are already debating two very different outcomes: whether the Fed will hold rates steady or whether persistent inflation could put another rate increase back on the table. When expectations are this divided, even a carefully worded statement can trigger sharp moves across financial markets.
The inflation picture has made the decision m

First, a word for those who are bullish $SUI , then a word for those who are bearish.
The bullish side needs to prove there are buyers above 1.0615; the bearish side needs to prove no one steps in after 0.9668 gives way. $SUI is currently at 1.0433, up 7.85% over 24 hours. 1-hour support is 0.9668, resistance is 1.0615, and current volume is 1.20 times the average over the last 20 bars.
Until both sides have presented all their evidence, what matters more to me is that $SUI has already reached the area just below resistance; testing, breaking through, and holding above it are three different s

Day 2: Made a small profit of a little over 10 U. This afternoon, I opened two short positions. The subsequent short-squeeze move in the futures market reversed too quickly for me to react. Too many short positions had piled up below. Luckily, price didn't hit my stop-loss. After wiping out the shorts, it pulled back to around 2465, and it was around 9:20. U.S. stocks were about to open, so I decided to exit at breakeven. No betting on direction! When you get the direction wrong, strictly cutting losses and managing to bring your average price back to breakeven is a win. #eth #hype

Fed Remarks Put $80K Support and $84K Resistance in Focus
Bitcoin is facing another important macro test as traders reassess the Federal Reserve’s next move. On October 16, BTC has been trading around $82,000 after recent volatility pushed it toward the $80,000 area. Hotter U.S. inflation data has revived concerns about tighter monetary policy, making the Fed’s latest comments particularly important for short-term market direction.
The key issue is interest-rate expectations. If the Fed maintains a hawkish stance because

🏠 There are investors and demand for housing, but mortgage lending remains frozen because of the reserve requirement: of every 100 bolivars deposited, some cannot be lent out.
And since housing is priced in dollars, the down payment usually goes through P2P in USDT.
How the bottleneck works:
1) The reserve requirement forces banks to keep a portion of deposits locked up. Of every 100 bolivars deposited, only a fraction goes out as loans. The rest remains frozen.
2) Without credit, there are no mortgages. A bank cannot lend for 20 years what it does not have available. Housing loans—the longes

US memory chip stocks are under heavy selling pressure again, and the decline has spread from one or two names into a sector-wide repricing. Micron (MU), SanDisk (SNDK), Western Digital (WDC) and SK Hynix (SKHY) have all been sliding, and mid-October reports described roughly $1 trillion in combined market value disappearing from the memory makers in a short period. Based on the latest snapshots I could find, Micron is more than 25% below its peak, SanDisk has fallen close to 40% from its high near $2,380 to around $1,450, SK Hynix is about 22% lower, and the Round

US WHOLESALE INFLATION JUST HIT 6.3% AND CRYPTO ATE A $930M LIQUIDATION WAVE 🚨
September PPI rose 1.3% on the month and 6.3% on the year, far above the ~5.3% expected and the biggest annual gain since Dec 2022. It landed one day after a hot CPI (3.7%), with the Fed meeting on Oct 27–28.
Yesterday, $BTC flushed to 79,732, then clawed back above 82K. Nearly, $930M got liquidated in 24h, ~$780M of it longs.

The bulls need to prove there are buyers above 2.282; the bears need to prove that once 1.975 breaks, no one steps in to buy. $ZRO is currently at 2.188, up 10.73% in 24 hours. 1-hour support is at 1.975, resistance at 2.282, and current volume is 0.76 times the average of the past nearly 20 bars.
Until both sides have presented all their evidence, I’m more focused on the fact that after $ZRO’s sharp 24-hour rally, momentum and continuation are not the same thing. I won’t extrapolate the large move that has already

These short positions in U.S. stocks have finally started turning profitable after being held for so long…
But since I also went long on BABA, all the profits were eaten up…
Purely based on my gut feeling, what I wanted to bet on back then was the U.S. AI narrative losing steam while China’s AI narrative was hyped up again. Although the outcome doesn’t seem too bad, upon closer examination, the logic was completely muddled…
The decline here was mainly due to macro factors, and the Hang Seng Tech Index’s rebound after bottoming out over the past few days was also definitely not because there wa

As the CPI shockwave fades, Bitcoin “recovers lost ground” at $82,000, but Glassnode issues its starkest warning yet: support below is being “vacuumed out”
Overnight, $80,000 turned from “support” into “resistance,” then back into “support.” But on-chain data says the underlying liquidity behind this rebound is far more fragile than it appears.
I. First, the market: BTC “clawed back” from below $80,000
Over the past 24 hours, the crypto market played out a classic “data shock—panic selling—technical recovery” script.

#比特币短线站上8.2万美元 As the CPI shockwave recedes, Bitcoin “reclaims lost ground” at $82k, but Glassnode issues its sternest warning: support below is “turning into a vacuum”
Overnight, $80k turned from “support” into “resistance,” then back from “resistance” into “support.” But on-chain data says the underlying liquidity behind this rebound is far more fragile than it appears.
I. First, the market: BTC “clawed back” from below $80k
Over the past 24 hours, the crypto market played out a textbook “data shock—panic selling—technical recovery” scenario.
Bitcoin plunged intraday to $79,694, falling below $80k for the first time since mid-September. It then rebounded rapidly as buyers stepped in and is currently trading at around $82,331, up about 0.83% over 24 hours.
Ethereum moved in tandem—it briefly fell to $2,362 intraday before rebounding to around $2,452, posting a slight 24-hour gain.‌
Zcash (ZEC) was today’s “outlier,” surging 6.89% in a single day to lead major cryptocurrencies, trading at around $122. Solana rose 0.93%, Hyperliquid gained 1.32%, and most altcoins also rose.‌
But behind the gains were brutal liquidations.
Over the past 24 hours, a total of $929 million in digital-asset positions were liquidated, including $777 million in long positions. Ethereum alone saw $292 million in liquidations across the market, with more than $157 million on the Bn platform alone—the most significant single-hour liquidation event in nearly six months.‌
II. Who triggered the sell-off?—AI stocks crashed, and crypto got caught in the crossfire
This sell-off was not sparked by the crypto market itself.
The 20 largest AI- and semiconductor-related stocks by market cap lost more than $1 trillion in value over four trading days. South Korea’s KOSPI index plunged more than 7% at one point, as intensifying competition in memory chips fueled concerns about tech-stock valuations.‌
Risk assets are undergoing a broad “valuation reset,” with Bitcoin, a high-beta asset, taking the initial hit.
But one detail is worth noting: as the US 10-year Treasury yield fell from 5.36% to 5.04%, the crypto market recovered some of its losses. Interest-rate trends remain the crypto market’s most sensitive nerve.‌

III. Fed officials speak in unison: hawkish direction, dovish pace
After the CPI data was released, Fed officials made a flurry of statements, choosing their words very carefully.
San Francisco Fed President Daly’s comments merit the closest attention. She said explicitly that “further increases in short-term interest rates may be needed to curb inflation,” but that there was “no need to act immediately at the October meeting”—“there is still ample time to make careful decisions.”‌
New York Fed President Williams, the Fed’s “No. 3,” also said on Tuesday that he still believes another rate hike this year would be appropriate, but does not currently see a need for further rate increases in 2027.‌
UBS overhauled its forecast after the CPI data, raising its prediction for the number of rate hikes in this tightening cycle to three—one in September, another in December, and a third in March 2027.‌
CME data shows the probability of rates remaining unchanged in October at around 72%, and the probability of a cumulative 25-basis-point hike by December at around 67%.‌

IV. ETF funds are flowing out, but “whales” are buying
 ETF flows have weakened noticeably.
On October 15, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of around $262 million, wiping out the previous day’s $176 million in inflows and bringing net outflows for the week to $151 million. Spot Ethereum ETFs saw net outflows of around $130 million that day, bringing cumulative outflows for the week to $190 million.‌
But on-chain data is sending the opposite signal.
CryptoQuant data shows that despite recent ETF net outflows of $744.3 million, large on-chain holders’ total holdings have risen to 3.03 million BTC, with monthly growth at its fastest pace since February this year.‌

V. Glassnode’s warning: The “foundation” of this rebound is hollow. This is today’s most noteworthy development.
On-chain analytics firm Glassnode noted that although BTC successfully broke through the $80k buy-side resistance and triggered a rebound, the downside support below it is weakening significantly.
 Specifically:
• The massive buy orders previously clustered around $80k were fully filled as the price fell.
• New buy orders are concentrated mainly around $78,000, forming a new lower-price buying cluster.
• But this support mechanism is essentially “passive defense”—it relies on falling prices to trigger buy orders, rather than proactively absorbing supply at higher prices.
Glassnode’s key conclusion is that if the price falls below the newly formed liquidity cluster at $78,000, support below will quickly “turn into a vacuum,” accelerating the decline. The current short-term rebound is more of a technical recovery than confirmation of a trend reversal.

VI. What do institutions think? Bullish long term, cautious short term
Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan offered an interesting framework in his latest memo:
Whether AI drives economic growth, the AI bubble bursts, or interest rates remain high or rise further, Bitcoin still has room to climb over the long term. If the AI bubble bursts, Bitcoin would initially fall alongside risk assets, but policy support for AI investment and subsequent monetary easing would eventually push Bitcoin higher.‌

But institutions are generally cautious in the short term.
Liquidity provider Wincent’s Paul Howard expects Bitcoin to trade in a short-term range of $80k to $88k; if $80k gives way, the market could fall further toward $75k.‌
21Shares’ Matt Mena believes that as Bitcoin retests the $81k–$82k support zone, a considerable portion of the losses may already have been priced in. If macro uncertainty eases, Bitcoin could climb back above $85k and move on toward $90k.‌

Stocks are getting a new home, and it’s not just Wall Street anymore.
Tokenization is bringing equities onchain, opening the door to 24/7 trading, faster settlement, and access through crypto wallets.
But the bigger opportunity goes beyond buying and selling.
Imagine using tokenized stocks as collateral in DeFi, borrowing against your equity, or moving between traditional markets and onchain liquidity without the usual friction.
That’s where things get interesting.
We’re not just putting stocks on a blockchain. We’re exploring what happens when equities become programmable assets.
