Why Can You Be Right About the Market Yet Still Fail to Make Money?

One of the most frustrating things for traders in the cryptocurrency market is getting the direction right but still not making money in their account.

You expect Bitcoin to rise, and the price does; you think the market will pull back, and it does. But when you review your account, you find that your returns are disappointing or that you are still at a loss.

The problem may not be your directional call, but every detail of your trade execution.

First, your entry timing may be poor. Even if you correctly predict an upward

Why are traders more likely to take on excessive risk after a streak of profits?

In the cryptocurrency market, there is an easily overlooked risk: after a streak of profits, people may actually become less cautious.

After making profits on several consecutive trades, traders can develop the illusion that they have mastered the market’s rhythm and are likely to correctly predict what comes next. So they start increasing their position sizes, loosening their entry criteria, and even ignoring stop-loss rules they used to follow strictly.

But the market won’t guarantee that you’ll be right toda

📡 Signal card | Reposting, not leading
Just posted in the AMAN channel: $UNI Long entry 7.6, stop loss 7; targets: 7.7 / 7.78 / 7.88; time: 11-06 (the channel didn’t provide more details)
Come to think of it, I reposted an AMAN $TAO trade earlier today, and here’s another one—very diligent😂
As always, I’m only reposting this as-is and don’t vouch for its authenticity or results. Whether to follow and how much to put in is up to you, babes. Remember to set your SL.

Friday, November 6.✨

May we be able to see people with more compassion today. Not everyone who smiles is having an easy time, and we don’t always know what someone is facing in silence. A little understanding, a kind word, or a caring gesture can make a difference. May God teach us to be a source of peace in the lives of those who cross our path.

🟣 New all-time highs for volume, open interest and unique traders on HIP-3 yesterday.
You couldn't miss it. Yesterday, AI and semiconductor stocks crashed across Wall Street, dragging the major US indices down with them.
As is often the case, HIP-3 was a big winner, setting 3 new records:
◻️ $9.14B in volume (+0.9% over the previous ATH)
◻️ $4.70B in OI (+2.9%)
◻️ 41,923 unique traders (+15.2%)
Unsurprisingly, more than 98% of the volume went through @tradexyz. The platform's most-traded contracts were:
◻️ XYZ100 - $1.19B in volume - 13.2% of total volume
◻️ SP500 - $935M - 10.4%
◻️ SKHX - $8

I've been using Invincible Star VPN lately, and the overall experience has been pretty good. The node speeds and stability are solid, and it's basically enough for everyday use.
I heard paid subscriptions are starting next week, so you can try it while it's still free. After using it, you can also ask the admin in the TG group to extend your access.

Isn't Paraguay's bank rug actually bullish for crypto neobanks?
I doubt Paraguay will be the last country facing this issue.
Imagine waking up and suddenly losing access to your savings because your local bank collapsed.
And in countries with weak institutions, the risk of people losing access to their money is even more concerning.
This is exactly why I think crypto neobanks have a massive opportunity.
Hold USD-denominated assets, tokenized gold, or BTC without being fully exposed to your local banking system or currency.
Of course, crypto neobanks come with their own risks, but the demand fo

$BTC I’ve stayed bearish all the way, and my BTC short has finally paid off with a nice profit.

Unfortunately, I closed my ETH short from the previous highs too early. This drop was stronger than expected.

There are no perfect trades; it’s impossible to catch every move from start to finish.

It’s enough to capture the profits within your own understanding. Missing out or selling too early is normal. Keep a level head. With tonight’s nonfarm payrolls data approaching, I’ll keep managing my position size and wait for opportunities.

Why can prices still fall when large buy orders are sitting on the order book?

In cryptocurrency trading, many people watch the order book and try to judge market direction based on buy and sell orders. When a large number of buy orders appear on the screen, some traders believe support below is strong and that prices should not fall easily.

But reality is often not that simple. A large number of buy orders does not mean prices will definitely rise; a large number of sell orders does not mean prices will inevitably fall.

First, orders are not the same as actual trades.

The order book shows

$ZEC An imbalance between longs and shorts has created a longer-term range-bound market
Dense long zone below: 1180-1220
Dense short zone above: 1340-1360
Why focus primarily on range trading? zec is moving against the broader market
A breakout above 1360 would open the way for an uptrend, with a target of 1400-1440
A break below 1180 would open the way for a downtrend, with a target of 1040-1080
I’ve been repeatedly emphasizing these levels since last month
At this stage, it’s all about seeing which side prevails in the final battle

U.S. stocks suffered a sharp selloff on Thursday, with the Nasdaq closing down more than 5% and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index falling over 12%. AI and chip stocks including $NVDA and $AMD were hit especially hard. Markets are reassessing AI valuations, data-center spending and future returns. Is this just short-term deleveraging, or the start of a deeper correction in the AI trade? Which sectors are you watching next?
