Aleo is not like Bitcoin with a fixed total of 21 million; it follows a decreasing inflation model year by year:

- In the early stages, mining and staking rewards are gradually released each year

- Inflation decreases annually, approaching extremely low inflation in later stages

3. Total amount produced so far (latest as of May 2026)

Approximately 1.59 billion tokens

4. Long-term limit (around 2036, 10 years later)

The total gradually rises to about 2.6 billion tokens as a cap

It will definitely not reach 10 billion tokens; the previous claim of 10 billion was pure rumor.

- Genesis: 1.5 billion

- Already issued: 1.59 billion
