On 10-25, I wrote that I’d only consider it confirmed at 1246.42, then didn’t pay it any more attention.
Three days later, it was at 1307.64. It didn’t stop at 1246 and climbed all the way to 1318.19.
My mistake at the time: I marked the confirmation line but not whether to chase.
One thing to add: the confirmation line and the entry line have never been the same.
10-27 20:00 1283.59
10-27 21:00 1300.40, volume 1.8 million contracts
10-28 00:00 1310.00, high of 1318.19
10-28 08:00 1307.64
The eight candles after 1318.19 all churned between 1290 and 1313, with volume back in the 100,000–200,000

Let’s start with a term: shadow price.
U.S. stocks close at 4:00, and all the numbers posted on this market are just shadows, with hardly any real buyers behind them.
Someone left me a comment: Just hold a big-name stock like Microsoft. Why watch the market?
Fine, let me lay out the numbers on this shadow market for you.
24-hour trading volume: $1.02 million; $HYPE in the same tier: $23.97 million, a 23x gap.
The 24-hour range is just 528.81 to 535.56, a spread of 6.75.
535.18 and 535.56 were both pushed back down after two attempts; the high was set at midnight this morning.
It’s now 532.45,

Someone asked me: Can you still take a shot above 81?
I asked back: First, look at how it got there.
“Two hours of gains and it’s already out of breath—a textbook fakeout.”
Those two bars were 290k and 400k contracts; the 48-bar average is only 143k, 2.8x.
“It’s already right at the 24-hour high. Wouldn’t chasing it just mean catching a falling knife?”
The high of 81.874 was set at 3 a.m.; not one of the next four bars has touched it.
Now it’s at 81.31, just 0.56 from that wick.
My condition: I’ll only validate this leg if a pullback holds 81.10 and volume doesn’t collapse.
If it breaks 80.82,

I checked the order book three times; one line of numbers looks off.
$INTC is up 4.28%, climbing from 86.7 to 92.57
Question: So money is flowing in, right?
Answer: Yes, but the inflow didn’t happen at the end.
The previous day, the 23:00 candle had 89k contracts, 2.65 times the average volume
That single candle lifted the price from 89.64 to 90.89
Question: What about tonight’s move to 92.57?
Answer: 51k contracts, 1.52 times average volume—the same as the first three candles
From 16:00 to 19:00, the four candles were 1.52, 1.32, 1.51, and 1.52

$BTC Over 48 hours, it fell from 80926.3 to 79324.1, then climbed back
Now at 79921, MA20 is 79923.5, a $2.5 difference
Scenario one.
If 79465.8 breaks and the price can't recover → next stop is that old wick at 79324.1
Scenario two.
Hold 79817.3 → that wall at 80130 still needs to be hit again
What about volume?
At 21:00, the candle that plunged to 79430.1 saw 4.54x volume
From 02:00 to 06:00, volume was down to just 0.29x to 0.58x the whole way
People sell on the way down; nobody adds money while it grinds
Funding rate 0.0001, longs pay shorts a penny every eight hours

Don't touch it yet.
$SOL I'll first note three things at this level.
1. 102.69 → 99.12, a 3.57 drop over nineteen hours
2. The 18:00 candle had 327k contracts, 2.2x the average volume
3. 19:00 volume was 0.97x, and by 20:00 it was down to just 0.18x
The spike candle came with volume, but there were no follow-up orders—that's a quick sweep and exit.
It wasn't a dump; dump volume would keep coming for two or three consecutive hours.
Now at 99.95, ma20 is at 100.289, so it's 0.34 short of getting back above it.
Funding rate is 0.0001; longs pay shorts one cent every eight hours (a negligible ove

Q: What is falling?
A: Not the company, but a quote in a vacuum
First, a term: the vacuum period, when the underlying hasn't opened and prices are held up entirely by limit orders
No one is actually trading, so a few orders can push the price a long way
Last night's 21:00 bar had 4.84 million shares, while the preceding bars had only 400,000–900,000
One bar slammed the price from 148.34 to 145, a drop of 3.34
Q: Then where did 150.56 come from?
A: The 22:00 and 23:00 bars, with 3.15 million and 2 million shares, pushed it back to 150.5

Sixteen hours, and it moved just seventeen bucks
4000 was the lower wick of last night’s 21:00 candle, and the low for the whole day
103.5M in volume got dumped, then buyers picked it back up in an hour
4032.5 was the 22:00 close; that candle saw 113.2M, even more than the selloff
From 4032.5 to 4015.12, it moved -17.38 over sixteen hours
That works out to -1.09 bucks per hour
It moved 32.5 bucks in one hour, then just 1.09 bucks per hour after that—a thirtyfold difference
It touched 4038.65 at 01:00, failed to hold, then started drifting down
MA20 is at 4022.91, with the price below it

The screen just ticked over to 14:20: 79779.8
Last night at 23:00 $BTC touched 80800; at 21:00, it plunged to 79430.1
A 1369-point range, with all the volume concentrated in the latter half
That 21:00 candle traded 98.05 million contracts, plunging straight to 79430.1
At 22:00, it immediately recovered to 80381, as if nothing had happened
Volume returned after 09:00: 21 million / 16.43 million / 19.82 million
Price eased from 80343.5 all the way to 79728.2
At 13:00, it rebounded to 80021.8 and closed at 79936.7, failing to hold

08:24, $SOL is parked at 100.89, with the MA20 at 101.08.
It hasn't touched this line for seven hours,
and six candles have reached up toward it, topping out at 101.11.
Looking back two days: 102.72 was at noon on 10-25,
then it slid all the way to 99.84 over twenty-three hours,
losing 2.88, or 2.8%.
The most interesting thing here isn't the price, but the volume.
Average volume is 145,000 lots; the latest four are
102,000, 100,000, 89,000, and the last one 16,000.
A decline on shrinking volume isn't too severe; a rebound on shrinking volume is what warrants caution.

Just after eight, the screen is stuck at 4027.51, still eleven bucks below today's high.
Note: I’ve been watching two lines at this price, and I haven’t dared put my hand on the trigger.
The first cost: the stop-loss has to go at 4015.44, which is 14.6 bucks from 4030.
Note: That’s 0.36%; accept losing a third first, then we can talk about gains.
The second cost: time. The 24-hour high and low are only 50.56 points apart.
Note: It’s been flat like this for 23 hours, moving less than 2.2 points an hour.
The third cost: getting stopped out. That spike to 4038.65 closed at 4030.67.
Note: The uppe

What about volume?
This candle has a volume of 300,000 lots; the 48-hour average volume is 460,000 lots.
Up 7 points, with volume still 30% below average.
I'll give it credit if it holds 145.32; if it breaks below 143.6, this rally was for nothing.

Fifty-two bucks—it looks like a breakout.
While BTC has been sitting above 80,000 for two days, $XAU moved 52 bucks on its own.
They say it broke out, but first let me compare the volume in the two moves.
During the drop from 06:00 to 09:00, volume was 11.7x, 8.7x, and 6.9x.
During the rise from 11:00 to 16:00, it peaked at 3.25x; even at a new high, it was only 2.02x.
In the four hours after breaking 4031.36, it moved just 5.7 bucks, with volume down to 0.64x.
These two moves don't add up: volume rises as it falls, and dries up as it rises.
That means short covering, not longs buying.

Those who chase in never lack courage; what they lack is capital for the next day.
Q: Who sold $KORU at 11.016?
A: Volume was 9x; it dumped from 11.016 to 10.632, giving up 3.5 points in a single candle.
Q: Why sell at this time?
A: 1.46 million contracts, 1.53 million contracts—normally only 200,000 in an hour.
Q: Who caught it on the way down?
A: Volume was only 1.55x, 560,000 contracts—40% of the selling volume.
Three questions answered: trapped holders above, retail orders catching below, no major player in between.
Now 10.704 is just above ma20 at 10.633, stuck in the middle.

(I just went through $SNOW from that 16:00 wick all the way to 19:00; now that I'm done, I feel like laughing)
(The narrative is settled: 320.61 was panic selling, and catching it means that's the bottom)
(I don't buy it. I have just one reason: the volume doesn't add up)
(That wick had 4x the volume, 3691 contracts. The previous hour had 873, and the hour before that had 876)
(Real panic would have lifted volume over the next two hours too, but it was 912, 1170, and 1001)
(All three hours were near average volume, meaning nobody was buying the dip or chasing)

That 286,000-contract candle dumped this morning, and my hand was hovering over the order box (I didn’t click in the end)
Honestly, that round-number level at 100 fooled me once last month
That 99.84 candle at 11 o’clock was specifically there to grade the homework
(I know at least three people who bought the dip this morning)
Now $SOL 100.82, with MA20 at 101.28
Three sell-off candles: 286,000, 186,000, and 255,000 contracts
The rebound candle: 155,000 contracts

Went through the trade details, and one trade doesn’t add up.
At 07:00 it surged to 11.016; by 14:00 it was at 10.347;
In three hours, 3.66 million units changed hands, dumping the inventory from above;
From 11:00 to 12:00, it took just 920k units to lift it back to 10.75;
But at 14:00 it was back down to 10.32, the 24-hour low.
$KORU The day’s total trading volume was $7.58 million, and that’s all the depth the pool has;
Those who bought between 10.5 and 10.7 are still holding positions with a cost basis above 10.34;
920k units to push the price up, 3.66 million to dump it;
I won’t name who’s
