So, how much is the minimum wage in the US anyway? That’s the question many people asking about moving there want to know. Well, the answer is more complicated than it seems because there isn’t a single value like we have here in Brazil.
The federal minimum wage in the US has been $7.25 per hour since 2009 — yes, frozen for 15 years. But here’s the catch: each state can set its own minimum. Some states are around $11 to $16 per hour, while more expensive places like Washington DC reach $17.50. California and New York also have quite high rates. This means that the minimum wage in the US varies

Do you know that myth that the dollar is the most expensive currency in the world? Well, that's not quite true. I’ve been researching the most valued currencies worldwide and found that there are several much stronger than the US dollar. Something we don’t see much of when it comes to investing.
What caught my attention most is that currencies like the Kuwaiti Dinar (traded around $3.25) and the Bahraini Dinar (about $2.65) are way ahead. Behind them come the Omani Rial, the British Pound, and the Swiss Franc. The dollar, which was considered unbeatable, has dropped quite a bit in the rankings

Have you ever stopped to think about what truly protects investors in stocks in Brazil? There is a concept that many people overlook, but it makes a real difference when things get serious — during a control sale, merger, or acquisition. It’s the famous Tag Along.
Tag Along is basically the right to go along. It sounds simple, but the idea is powerful: when someone sells the control of a publicly listed company, minority shareholders can also sell their shares, at a minimum price proportional to what was paid to the controlling shareholder. It’s a mechanism created to prevent only the controll

When we talk about serious investing in Brazil, Luiz Barsi's name almost automatically comes up. This guy built a career that goes far beyond numbers — it's more about mindset itself.
Barsi was born in São Paulo in 1939, into a humble family of Spanish immigrants. He worked from an early age, and this deeply shaped how he views money and financial security. The key difference is that he turned this reality into an investment philosophy that still inspires thousands of people.
What makes Barsi different is simple: he never tried to get rich quickly. His strategy is to build passive income throu

Do you know that "Old Man from Havan" who became a meme on the internet? Well, behind that nickname is a very interesting story of Brazilian entrepreneurship. Luciano Hang was born in 1962 in Brusque, Santa Catarina, and today, with his advanced age but still very active, remains one of the most influential businessmen in the country.
What few know is that Luciano Hang faced dyslexia in childhood, which made his initial learning difficult. But that didn’t stop him from moving forward. After studying Data Processing, he started early in the business world. By age 17, he was already working at t

Have you ever stopped to think about who Leila Pereira is? This woman has become a reference when it comes to business and football in Brazil, and her journey is much more interesting than it seems at first glance.
Leila Mejdalani Pereira was born in 1965 in Cabo Frio, Rio. Daughter of a doctor, she grew up in a traditional environment, but from an early age showed extraordinary ambition. At 14, she was already moving to Rio de Janeiro alone, determined to build her own path. She started studying journalism at Estácio de Sá and even interned at TV Manchete during the 1990 World Cup — an experi

Do you know when you want to put money into the stock market but are unsure where to send it?
So, that’s exactly what made me think about compiling a view on the best assets to invest in now, considering what has happened from 2023 up to 2026.
The market has gone through some intense changes indeed.
Remember that chaos with Americanas?
That shook up B3 quite a bit, but then things normalized.
The cool thing was that Brazil received good news with tax reforms and the fiscal framework, which greatly improved investor confidence.
Now looking ahead, the economy is in a calmer pace, but

Do you know that feeling that global stock markets today determine the direction of everything? Well, yes. Monitoring what happens in global trading sessions has become almost mandatory if you want to understand where the money is flowing. When the S&P 500 moves, when the Nasdaq dips, or when the Nikkei advances, we already start to get clues about what’s coming next.
The truth is that international markets function like a large thermometer. Interest rates, inflation, economic growth, company results, geopolitical tensions – all of this is reflected in real time in the indices. And in 2026, th

I was researching Portugal's minimum wage for 2025 and decided to share what I found, especially for those of us thinking about moving there.
So, Portugal's minimum wage in 2025 is €870 per month on the mainland. Compared to 2024 (€820), there was a nice increase. In the islands, it's a bit higher: Madeira with €913.50 and Azores with €915. The government is betting on annual adjustments until 2026, trying to get closer to the European average.
I converted it to reais to get a better sense: €870 is about R$5,500 to R$5,600 depending on the exchange rate. It seems a lot when we think about the

Olha só que coisa interessante que achei nos dados: o Ethereum está perto de fazer algo que nunca fez na história. Três trimestres seguidos no vermelho?
So, I'm looking at the crypto market now in 2026 and I keep thinking about which one is really worth putting money into. Bitcoin and Ethereum still dominate, of course - BTC around 75.7k and ETH at 2.08k, both with small drops today. But there's a lot more going on.
Anyone following since 2024 knows that Bitcoin's halving was a huge move. The more traditional coins continue to be the safest choices, especially for those just starting out. Ethereum always closely follows BTC, and the folks who got in during the network upgrade period came out ahead.
Now, if you want to go beyond the obvious, th

I was curious about who Luiz Barsi really is beyond the numbers circulating around. I started researching and discovered a story that makes a lot of sense, you know?
The guy was born in São Paulo in 1939, into a family of Spanish immigrants with not many resources. Grew up facing hardship, had to work from an early age. That completely shaped how he sees money and financial security. No wonder he became the biggest individual investor that B3 has ever seen.
The most interesting thing is that Barsi didn’t get rich through sophisticated operations or complex financial products. He built a fortun

Man, choosing a trading app in Brazil is kind of chaotic indeed. There's zero fees on one side, an international broker on the other, an app full of charts you don't understand at all… then there's that total void of not knowing which one to use.
But honestly, there’s no such thing as a "best app," you know? There’s what works for your way of investing. I’ve tested several, and I’ll tell you which makes sense for each situation.
First, before opening an account with any of them, ask yourself: do you want to invest for the long term or do you want to do trading? Will you be active every week or

I always thought the dollar was the most valuable currency in the world, but I found out that's far from the truth. There are several currencies much more expensive out there, and some of them could be great for diversifying investments in 2026.
We always hear about the dollar, euro, and pound when it comes to strong currencies, but in reality, they are not even close to the most expensive. The Kuwaiti Dinar is currently the most valued currency in the world — trading at around 3.25 USD. Next comes the Bahraini Dinar (2.65 USD) and the Omani Rial (2.60 USD). These countries maintain highly sta

So I discovered these games that earn cryptocurrencies, and honestly, it changed my way of seeing this crypto universe. Like, I always heard about Play-to-Earn but never really took the time to understand how it worked, you know? Then I started researching and found it pretty interesting.
Basically, it works like this: you enter a game, complete missions, win battles, build things, and in return, earn tokens that you can later convert into Bitcoin, Ethereum, or other coins. Some are completely free to start, others require a small investment at the beginning. The tokens you earn (like SLP, TLM

There is a story circulating in the retail market that I find very interesting to follow. Ilson Mateus, this entrepreneur who founded Grupo Mateus in the Northeast, is practically a success story you don't see every day around here.
The guy was born in the 1960s in Imperatriz, Maranhão — a region that didn't have much infrastructure at that time. In the 1980s, with few resources, he tried his luck in Serra Pelada as a gold miner, but like many others there, it didn't work out very well. He left there and returned to Maranhão, and that's when the real interesting story began.
He opened a small

Have you ever stopped to think about how much Neymar has actually accumulated over the course of his career? It’s not just about goals and titles, you know. The guy built a fortune that even investors take notice of.
Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, born on February 5, 1992, in Mogi das Cruzes, is far more than a football player. His journey began humbly, growing up in São Vicente and then in Santos, where he joined the youth system at age 11. But talent spoke louder than anything.
At Santos FC, he became an idol far too quickly. He debuted for the senior team and was already a standout in the S

Hey, I'm seeing a really interesting movement in the investment market here in Brazil. Like, in 2025, more than 5 million new investors entered, and it seems this year is even hotter. The younger crowd is looking for stock apps that are truly intuitive, you know? It’s not just about low fees; they want financial education, real-time analysis, those kinds of things.
I did a quick analysis of the main platforms and found it pretty cool how each one is positioning itself. Mitrade has this thing with demo accounts to practice before investing for real, which is really great for beginners. Rico and

Have you ever stopped to think about how some people manage to build financial empires almost from scratch? Well, Carol Paiffer is one of those cases that really grabs our attention. I recently learned more details about her personal life, and I found it quite interesting how her personal journey shaped the businesswoman she is today.
Carol was born in Porto Feliz, São Paulo, in 1987. She grew up in a family that already had an interest in the financial market. She spent her childhood in an environment where conversations about investments were common at the table. Interestingly, she had been

Seriously, choosing the best digital bank in 2024 isn’t easy at all. There are so many options out there that it gets confusing to know which one is actually worth it.
I did some research these days and realized that what matters most is knowing what you’re looking for. Some want zero fees, others want a variety of products, and some people care about a friendly interface. Everyone has their priorities.
The main criteria are: fees, accessibility, what the platform is like, and the variety of products. While some people only want fixed income, others want to invest in forex, cryptocurrencies, i
