Variational has still not beat the volume it reached back in January 2026, and comparing the previous month on month, we can see that it keeps on gaining momentum.
We are not even half way in September and with calculations in mind, I expect this month to beat the previous August month by volume basis for 2 reasons.
1) TGE is near, so more traders = More FOMO = More volume.
2) Swaps launched in just 4 pairs, and we can see huge surge in volume already. A large portion is being done by swaps themselves.

Pushed around $10 Million volume.
was crazy, had some really good profits and losses and some hedge positions openly running. I did this with very small funds but mostly active scalps in bitcoin:native & $XAU

I think Variational's FDV can easily reach 10% of Hyper Liquid given the upcoming swaps + Api launches.
Even without them, Variational is doing so much better.
@variational_io 24 H Open Interest is $1.5 Billion after Aster and Hyper liquid ($13 Billion)
Variational 30d volume is also $30 Billion whereas Hyper liquid has $217 Billion.
People are limiting the max upside to be around $2 Billion to $3 Billion but I think it's easily possible to capture $7 Billion to $8 Billion FDV.
Expected per point value = $200 to $250

$BTC update, we are approaching important level around $81k to $82k area. (Can act as resistance or swing lower high again)
The lower white line is $71.3k and can be good area if you are looking for any kind of retests.
One key thing missing is a liquidation cascade like previous times. So I will be aware and warned that that might happen as well.
