As Israel 🇮🇱 continues to destroy southern Lebanon 🇱🇧 and kill civilians and medics under the now usual guise of either human shield or they where hisbolla much like they did in Gaza, the international community continues to condemn but allow it to happen
No other regime on earth enjoys Israel’s impunity on its war crimes and it’s time we all ask why

I haven’t posted about BTC or crypto in some time
The markets are completely interdependent on this war that is driving up cost and turning around previous high expectations of rate cuts to none for 2026 and even possible hikes.
I continue to buy serious dips

🇻🇦 The Catholic Church is experiencing a remarkable resurgence, with record numbers of Protestants converting.
Hallelujah!
In particular, 18-35 year olds are increasingly disillusioned with Protestantism’s “interpret Jesus your own way” approach, its endless denominational fragmentation, and is instead drawn to the structure, reverence, and historical truth they find in the Catholic Church.

Christians are the chosen people according to 1 Peter 2:9
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, e that you may declare the wonderful deeds of him who called you
out of darkness into his marvelous light. Once you were no people but now you are God's people; once you had not received mercy but now you have received mercy”
Peter is unmistakably applying Israel’s covenant titles to Christians, and he does it in a way that only makes sense if he believes the people of God are now defined by Christ rather than by ethnicity or ancestry.
Peter takes four iden

Some People think that Christianity teaches that Jews must rule the Holy Land before Jesus returns.
No - a specific strand of evangelical Dispensationalism teaches that.
Revelation never says it.
The apostles never say it.
Jesus never says it.
This idea comes from Darby and then the Scofield Reference Bible, which inserted pages of Dispensational notes into the biblical text.
Entire generations of evangelicals grew up thinking Scofield's commentary was part of Scripture itself.
That's not Christianity.
That's a 19th-century system imposed on the text.
I would love to have anyone show me wh

Jesus said do not fear that which destroys the body
Rather fear that which destroys the body and soul
I guarantee you that all who pray for war in Gods name do not know Jesus or understand his gospel
They will come back at me with OT passages but what they fail to grasp is that Jesus said he fulfilled the laws.
The Greek word is plērōsai from plēroō, which means to complete, bring to full meaning, or accomplish — not to keep the Mosaic Law forever.
Jesus fulfilled the Law the same way a prophecy is fulfilled: completed, not continued.
Let him who has ears hear

“I am Catholic”
I was contemplating the use of the words “ I am Catholic” and wondering when and why it became necessary to say that.
A rant:
Today, unfortunately it’s not enough to say I am a Christian as that doesn’t describe your faith and your belief system.
Christianity has in many cases been hijacked by the very opposite of what it means to be Christian
You have some “Christians” that believe a third temple needs to be built so that a red cow can be sacrificed before Jesus returns. These “Christians” believe that killing the enemy of this plan is Gods will. How does anyone who read th

Watching Lebanon right now…
As a Catholic, I can’t ignore this: peace isn’t just ceasefires
it’s justice, truth, and the dignity of every human life.
War keeps repeating because those foundations keep getting ignored.
What does real peace even look like anymore?

Peace between Lebanon 🇱🇧 and Israel 🇮🇱 is blocked on both sides.
Israeli military aggression and expansionist policies on one side
Hisbolla armed proxy power undermining Lebanon’s sovereignty on the other
Until both are addressed, peace stays out of reach.

When people try to justify violence or the destruction of “enemies,” the New Testament leaves no room for it. Jesus consistently confronts the human impulse to harm, dominate, or destroy those we fear or dislike.
His words cut directly against injustice and the taking of life.
1. Jesus commands love, not violence, toward enemies.
He says plainly: “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” (Matthew 5).
This is not sentimental. It is a direct prohibition against treating enemies as disposable or less human.
2. Jesus rejects retaliation and cycles of harm.
When Peter tried to defen
